Hotel dates are usually 4 nights either Wednesday to Sunday or Thursday to Monday. If you choose the first option and you reach the final table of the main event unibet will cover your extra hotel day on sunday.

There will be other side events as well, maybe a DSO, maybe a highroller so might want to plan around those as well when they get announced.

As the deals/schedules/accommodations haven't been finalized yet as this was a last minute destination support won't be able to offer you any extra info I'm afraid. And for unibet open queries it's best to contact the unibet open team rather than support since, well, it's a different team managing the event. They're not the best at responding to e-mails in a timely fashion tho.
Thanks mate. I did email the unibet open team but no response. That's decent then, I'll probably fly over weds night after work and play the Friday day 1.

We are currently investigating the NL4 and NL10 games and will check the stats (especially of those playing 6-8 tables) and if we feel like there needs to be a change we will discuss it. Thanks for your feedback in that regard.

It's not yet confirmed, once confirmed it will be published on the Unibet Poker Open site, it was a last minute change, therefore the UO team is running a bit later than usual, apologies for that.

Nobody in the poker team has been in the office either time I've contacted either.

If it's 21-25th I'm assuming there will either be 2 day 1s and then day 2/3/4 or 3 day 1s and day 2/3? Any info would be appreciated.
NMPfan's reply in that regard is spot on.
No schedules and other details are confirmed yet but as he said, usually it's Thursday day 1a, Friday day 1b, Saturday day 2, Sunday final table.

There might be a day 1c turbo as in Bucharest but we don't know that yet, how can the poor support know in that case?

In general you can expect CS not to know more about the event than is published on the page, once the details are confirmed, you will be informed and qualifiers will be emailed.

Apologies for running late in that regard.

My gripe clearly isn't with CS not knowing about a day 1c turbo when I didn't even know about it. I'm going to book a flight for the Wednesday evening and back on Sunday and hopefully play the Friday then based on what you've said.

Any idea on roughly when we will be getting specifics? A week, a month?

I wish I could give you an answer to this but I honestly don't know it.
I can assure you that our dedicated UO events team is working hard to confirm all the details asap. I hope it's going to be less than a month but I can't guarantee it.

Alright, thanks. I'm surprised that details are planned so close to the event given you've been running satellites for a while but I look forward to it nonetheless.

Has there been changes in the time allowed while disconnected? If such is the case, I would appreciate it if it was revised for folks that are still in my situation of getting software crashes >once per 2 hours of play . I use to be able to log back again and finish the hands involving big parts, nowadays, never . I have yet to contact support to ask for a refund, as the hands in question are rarely more than 50$ and I know support is busy, but this is a little tilting...

When they do bet you can call once but have to give up your medium-strong hands when they continue to show aggression.

Unibet's goal is to protect the fun-player 10NL is full of recreationals or bad regulars that just nit up, I can't be bothered playing this boring game to beat those players but i can tell you this much no recreational is being protected in this environment neither is he having any fun. the nits are actually still there becouse some recreationals join their tables and play 1v5 so to speak with a boring game ahead just to call down vs the nuts from 1 off the 5 nits eventually get frustrated about their horrible luck and spew their money on higher stakes or casino games.

My suggestion is to ADD ANTE to the microstakes, not only will the slightly over breakeven nits win less or start losing they will have to play less tables IF they open up and it will create a way more fun game for the recreational and you will eventually get rid off nitty players that take the fun out of poker.
please continue to be ignorant towards your 4NL - 25NL cashgames, the real fish are at the higher stakes anyway meaning they can't be bothered with your microstakes games either and for the love of god add some more MTT's *cough* 180 man sng's so the 150%+ roi regs there that are basically nits with a few tricks up their sleeves and a push/fold chart + understanding of ICM can make bank.

Also all the random promotions are stupid, reward players with something that is consistant and that gives you a more appealing poker product. If i was a funplayer and 99% of them have to bother clicking for freeroll tickets and pennies i would just feel offended.

On a last note: nothing of this text is meant to be offensive, it is constructive feedback where i feel i have to let you know how i feel about your cashgames.
Dont know why u are writing this. It seems that you found a way to exploit tendencies of this player pool. So just open Tables and punish them for beeing nits. Some of these players even dont change their nicknames. So just steal as much money as u can from them.

I can tell u i was one of these 8 tabling nits but i was winning not that much.
After i was reducing the tables from 8 to 4 and stopped playing that robotic abc nit Poker i was a winning player.

Im sure u can still see the same nit Nicknames in Month because they dont win.
Pretty often when u hit ur set or something else they stack off pretty easy because they have an overpair or tptk

Is it still possible to move your Unibet package to the next UO? I'm probably going to get the package Oct-Dec but I don't want to do the UO in London. I'm working under the presumption that the 1st UO of 2019 is in London.

Imo Unibet has no real advantages anymore vs other sites. It used to have that good "home" feeling to it but now its just like every other site there.

Pros/Cons in my opinion:

PROS:
+ Low rake at micros
+ You have your own community

+- Quality of games is decent but it could be improved with a 6 tables max cap.

CONS:
- Your software is unstable and crashes/disconnects like once an hour. (its almost 2 years from releasing Unibet 2.0 and it still sucks)

- Your promotions and rakeback are bad:
* You get like a hundred notifications per day that you completed a minor challenge. I dont even look at the challenges anymore, they are annoying.
*You award your players mostly with tickets and sometimes with bonuspoints. Winning tickets is extra silly. If you MTT player and win a cash ticket from promotion you still have to play like 300 flops to get real money from it. It takes forver and im sure that most of the players are not able to play through the ticket.
Now that you are not exchanging tickets anymore your prizes should be in cash, or atleast all in bonus points.

-Your customer support is not very good
*Months ago i asked from live support if they could extend my dobuletrouble freeroll ticket. I got emailed back that they dont extend those tickets. Week later i read from this thread that UnibetDavid extended someones doubletrouble ticket. Felt bad lol.

*In the ending of august i posted screenshot and a wall of text to unibetcommunity about the frequent disconnections and asked for a refund. Got the usual "thanks for your report", but still waiting for a refund...

I agree that the old minor challenges were more fun to sweat, when they were harder to complete. Now usually can't be arsed to look what the minor challenge is. In theory, it's probably better this way, since very low volume players might have felt that even minors were too hard to complete, and new system might encourage to play more in order to complete one. In practice, I would love it if players who wanted could opt to go back to the old system. Then again, I assume that the implementation of having two different options would be seen as an unnecessary complication of things.

I agree that Unibet lost its edge to other sites. Main issue I have is that you can no longer exchange ticket which means I can't bother to do any of the challenges anymore

Well it's still (atleast near) impossible to use a hud and it's not a botheaven like party for example. Challenges might be more annoying but they still return at the same rate imo. And 300 flops do not take forever. Unless you are playing one table for one hour / day. I agree with that they should limit the numbers of tables you can play.

Agree that Unibet remains legit and elite, yet the software crashes are a VERY BIG issue (get 1 every 2 hours 2 years later and now do not have time to reconnect to save my hands ), support is not what it was and rakeback changes are rumoured for 2019

cons for me at Unibet:
- disconnects
- Software crashes

and one of the biggest but i think this is why Unibet is fish friendly: On average i think i need twice as much mouse clicks as i need playing on other sites (No auto top up, No bet scripts)

Can players from Greece play on Unibet? Unibet.com is restricted but on google the first site that comes up if you type unibet is https://gr.unibet-3.com/ . Is it legit and part of unibet just for greeks like bwin has done?

I don't find the games nitty at all , they are either very fishy or extremely aggro, depending mostly on time of day but not always. There are times when I consider it a Vatican endorsed miracle if I don't get re-raised or squeezed in a hand. There's also a lot of big, random bluffing from both fish and regs.

A couple of comments : I have not made a deposit in over 2 years and now that my account is once again depleted, I went to check my options and noticed that a 2.5% fee was added to debit card deposits. I mean, this is TITANIC As a Canadian, our options are very limited, is there any plans of adding wires or other options

Another point : the ratholing issue was brought up a few times ITT, but as someone that IS OBLIGED to do so because I do not want to play deepstacked due strictly to software crashing issues, I hope that if changes do come, that you will increase the time allocated to disconnections by 10-15 seconds or so... Again I insist : I would not rathole if the software did not crash on me on average every 2h (I also travel at times in countries that have unreliable wifi connections). Please seriously consider the latter.

That's a good idea, once we reach the 1000 pages, we will set something up for you guys. Since it's the 1000th page, I think a freeroll with 1000 EUR prize pool should be good

There have been no changes I am aware of.
Could you PM me with your username, if you continue having issues.

Might be worth investigating further where your issues are coming from.

I'm also happy to help out via PM if you have requests for refunds.

Unfortunately we don't allow to push UO packages/seats. The schedule for 2019 is not clear yet, it's not certain whether it's going to be London first off.

If you win a package through challenges, you have the option to exchange it for 100k bonus points + 250 EUR travel money.

I'm sorry you feel that way.
Regarding the crashes could you PM me more details and point me to the right Community page?

Poker is not our biggest product and questions are rarer, therefore the level of CS can vary, my goal is it to improve that and that's also why we try to over customers different channels to contact us. Again, I'm happy to help anyone here out via PM if you feel like CS isn't enough of a help.

There were no big changes in the current release, mostly promotions and backoffice changes, nothing that should cause this.

Are these still happening or is it better by now? If not, could you PM me details because it's the first time I hear about this.

Yes, you can play from Greece, you can just not register from there. So visiting Greece and playing is fine, living there is not.

Unibet is currently focused on the European markets, unfortunately the conditions for outside of Europe therefore are not as good as inside. I was told that we wanted to introduce a new banking payment method in Canada soon (and I think there was a trial phase on it). It's unfortunately quite complicated with jurisdictions etc.

Ideally we found the source of your disconnection/crashing issue so you don't have to worry about that, as mentioned above, please PM me and I will do my best to help you.
