Just putting this out there...
I decided to see if I could copy my games played/results from the website and paste in excel, which to my surprise actually worked. I did formulas to count the buy ins and returns (wanted to see my ROI) and what I found were that my results were suggesting my balance is incorrect.
I started with a balance of £1,433.47.
I played 77 games (according to the website) at £22.37 each = £1,722.49
I won 48 at £43.41 = £2,083.68 returns
Total profit should therefore be 2083.68 - 1722.49 = £361.19
This works out at €403 (€1,925 paid in 77 games at €25, €2,328 returned at €48.50 x 48)
My ending balance should therefore be £1,433.47 + £361.19 = £1794.66 but it is actually £1,772.29 (a discrepancy of £22.37, also the cost of one buy in).
My starting balance in euros was about €1,602. €403 profit would put me at €2005 but my actual balance is €1980, one buy in short.
I spoke with someone on live chat who told me I had played 78 games, not 77. Now I've checked my spreadsheet at least 5 times, I've filtered, I've counted the number of buy ins on the website manually. I've also counted the number of 'transactions' because it shows one transaction for the payment going out and one for going in. 77 buy ins plus 48 wins is 125 transactions. The Unibet website shows transactions in batches of 20, so I went to 120 and counted on from there, it's definitely 125 which indicates only 77 buy ins.
I've tried to manually follow the balance in pounds on the website for each transaction but when you're tired and going through 125 it's easy to lose track or just skim.
For the record I'm not saying I didn't play 78 games, it would make sense that I did given the bankroll being exactly one buy in less but I think it raises a real concern over the lack of accuracy in tracking available to us as players. One buy in at the €25 level isn't a massive financial issue but the principle of me now doubting whether my balance is correct raises much larger concerns and that's why I wanted to share it here. I play 4-6 tables at a time, I cannot manually count my games at the time, nor should I have to. As far as I'm concerned now, I'm having to just trust Unibet that 78 is the correct figure but I'd be interested to hear what others had to say on the matter.
Disclaimer - I'll probably wake up tomorrow and realise I've miscounted
Edit: Here's a couple of formulas that I've done, both showing 77:
Also, the next transaction on the website was from yesterday and for a different buy in so I have definitely included all of them.
Edit 2: WTF - Charged double for one buy in?
