Particularly don't like how the MTT blind structures actually get slower as you get further into the tournament (e.g. there is I think 700/1400 but no 70/140) which makes the length of time you play wildly longer if you actually finish in the top few positions and therefore makes the potential time commitment much longer every time you sit down. It should be the other way round with the structure speeding up as you get closer to the end.

A few months ago I suggested a tournament that would play reasonably slow but then just double the blinds each level when it got to about midnight CET. Still think it would be a good idea if the name pushed that particular selling point.

Dramatically disagree with the blind structure thing. I mean yes, catering for recreationals should be key and their needs should be addressed first, which largely means optimizing tournament length etc around the timeframe you mentioned. But faster at the beginning, slower at the end is exactly how it should be -- if you get to sleep a little bit less it's because you're already deep in a tournament so it's win-win. The other way around it would really suck balls -- why would you want to spend hours playing only to do some bingo coinflipping towards the end when the actual money is distributed? If you want those kinds of structures I strongly recommend Party, to me their site is nearly unplayable. A couple of weeks ago for example I played EIGHT hours in a 1000-player MTT to reach the ft. With 15 or so left the average was 35BB, then they skipped every level doubling the blinds in about 20 minutes, and at the final table everyone had 8BB. It was so disheartening to work 8 hours for that stack and then just do 8BB coinflips for 50 buyin differences...

On Unibet the tournaments don't even last very long, idk if anything I've ever played has lasted longer than like 4-5 hours and I've ft'd more or less everything on the schedule. I like how they are somewhat speedy early on so that you can either make a run or bust (and reg another / go do something else), but there's actual room to play later on.

From a rec perspective I guess optimizing tournament length to something like 3-4 hours max to make the ft (at current field sizes) is the point. I don't see how having a turbo structure in fts would help anything at all aside from making people angry about ruining their ft experiences, surely if you must cut some levels it should be the less meaningful ones? But honestly I don't think anything needs to be cut at all, the structures are pretty fast already.

is there a way to save custom table layout? or will it ever be an option?

+1

With the exception of the Supernova you are rarely looking at over 5 hours for a MTT to complete on Unibet. I know I can start pretty much any tournament before 8pm GMT and have it be over by Midnight or just after at the latest.

Who comes up with these promotions? Win a leaderboard and win 5 buyins. Someone scotish I presume

1000 euro is fine for 10 euro or even 25. But for 200?

Another +1 to Chuck's response to Lektor. I think the blinds should escalate in a "normal" manner, and neither speed up or slow down dramatically. Even with the current structure sometimes there's a level jump where (due to the stacksizes) all hell breaks loose because a whole load of players are suddenly put into the 'Dangerzone'. Making it so that everyone on the last couple of tables is pushed into shove/fold mode would be silly.

I have never complained about the blind structure in a tournament that I have won.

That said, faster earlier and slower when real money is involved makes sense.

is there a strategic reason for player names being so tiny? It's super annoying having to strain your eyes just to read a name and I have 20/20 vision. If I can mod them myself is that against T&C?

1. Make options to possible to select different layouts (table background) for Banzai and 100bb cash table

2. Increase the maximum number of tables played for Banzai to 4 or 8 tables.
The restriction of 2 tables is not convenient for players, diminishes the amount of play and deprives Unibet of additional profit.

@ZARATUSTRA

1. I could agree It can be misleading sometimes

2. There is a reason for this limit, and I like it. If players are playing too many Banzai tables, then they will start timing out more, and that slows down the game

Timebank so slmall... the game can not be slow

2UnibetDavid

Make the game start in Banzai for two players.
Two players in waiting list but Banzai Omaha has not started for several days already.

Let any cash game start with two players. Either more will join them or they won't but nothing wrong with letting the game run.

If people want more Banzai action then add Banzai 100. Andrew said in the summer it was a possibility but it seems to have been forgotten about since then.

Thinly disguised brag, but are there likely to be any issues playing from Hong Kong or Macau?

A minimum of three players prevents very easy chip dumping.

First hand of the fireball tournament today:

9.00+1.00 euro Fireball Tournament 30/60/4 2 players
BB (Hero) 5000
SB 5000 (unknown)
Hero dealt AK
Preflop (98)
SB raises to 5000 and is all in, Hero calls.
Villain reveals K8
Board: TJA - A - 4

Hero wins 100 euros and the title.

@David - seriously, I like that the tournament started rather than being cancelled, but to stop this type of problem for you (not complaining for myself obviously), how about if the tournament still opens and a similar bit of code to the one you use on bubble that says "waiting for other tables to finish" just holds the action with a message like "waiting for a third player to join" whenever a tournament is playing 2-handed and late reg has not yet closed? Alternatively we could simply not award finishing positions until late reg is over, so in the above situation I would be sitting with a double stack waiting for more people to come and play - I know there are technical issues with the person who has just been knocked out being placed "2nd" - maybe the system should just put anyone out in late registration in 999th place or something.

Might not be the right place to ask but anyways...

I have a Unibet account that I set up over ten years ago that was attached to a rakeback affiliate whose no longer in the poker business. I would like to start playing on Unibet again but would want to get this account attached to another rakeback affiliate so I can partake in rake races etc. Is this something that Unibet allow?

Cheers!

Unibet Open was a blast Better organized than WSOPE (in Paris), WSOPC (again, by far), APT and even Party Millions and WPT

Now if only UO can come in Canada, and more specifically at the Playground, that would be unmatchable...

No is the simple answer. It can only be broken down into €10 or €5 Supernova sat tickets unless they've changed the rules recently.

You should all go to https://www.unibetcommunity.com/t5/T...icket-exchange and make a topic for your ticket exchange there. Unless you are Dutch, that is the fastest way. David doesn't do exchanges in this thread anymore. You could also go to live chat and do your ticket exchange there.
