I know we're all gamblers by heart but boy oh boy you gotta have a lot of stones to put one red cent in ANY on-line poker site right now.

that offers a relief to non US players, why would they lie. I cant wait to get my cashout , I will be so happy I'll go out for a few drinks

no way I can afford to play live. minimum stakes are 1/2 and minimum roll is $4000 and I would hate to go from playing 600 hands an hr to like... 30, while having to sit next to douchenozzles who never heard of showering. and goodbye to note taking, goodbye to bonuses, goodbye to ****ing freedom

**** YOU AMERICA

and may 2nd election in canada Im voting liberal or NDP. anything to get that ****ing harper out of here. that scumbag sucks the american dick like a baby sucking on tits

a bigger question would be why are you watching faux news? it's the most discredited "news" organization on the planet.

From the news release, it seems the online sites that use the E-Check payments are the ones getting primarily looked at because they were using shady fake 'store' names like Jewerly / Phone charges to disguise deposits onto their sites.

If you repeat a lie often enough people will start to believe it

Hey guys, just playing at stars now and a popup came up saying that due to recent events the server had been moved to pokerstars.eu and mail moved to support@pokerstars.eu.

It also said that all non us balances were safe and that it was business as usual for players outside US and that they are trying to answer all emails asap.

Sorry i didnt get a screenshot but that was the gist of it anyway.

Shouldn't the DOJ be shutting the doors of General Electric. They made 14 Billion dollars in profit and paid ZERO taxes. Wheres the FBI seizing their books. Kinda of ironic that the sh@t hit the fan on tax day.

Pokerstars' statement is only trying to put the minds of non-US players at ease. What about US players?? Are they're saying for Americans there IS cause for concern and our balances are not safe??

"These developments are confined to the US and do not have any impact on your ability to continue using our services."
NO IMPACT ON MY ABILITY? I'M IN THE US!! WTF!

Interesting - pokerstars.eu works fine. Fulltiltpoker.eu --- redirects to the FBI page at fulltiltpoker.com. Of course, that's where I have my big balance. Will be interesting to see if FT pops up anywhere and says "your balances are safe." I'm not going to hold my breath ...

Cheers

Does anyone here use a Mac? Can you access the Ap server?

I have been playing on Absolute Poker, and they said on Facebook that PC users can withdraw money, but the Mac server is down, and they are working on it. So PC people can withdraw money but Mac can't? How is that fair????

This stinks.

I saw someone did post a screenshot on 2p2 in another thread and in that PS statement it DID SAY that the US players funds were SAFE.

Of course, cashouts could be a whole other Neteller fisaco.

I just posted this to say that PS was NOT ignoring the U.S. Player pool.

EDIT - After I read a few players responses to that PS statement, I see what you were talking about. I TOTALLY MisRead that and I am sorry for the confusion

Hence my statement that "gamblers honor" will play a huge role again. If any player is found to be disruptive or renigs they will never play again. Same rules as the live games used to be.

It's something to discuss at least. Working out the wrinkles would be the easy part. Getting enough players for a few games is the hard part. I'm up for a small stakes game to see what happens.
