THURSDAY & FRIDAY POKER ACTION PLAN: Tell MI lawmakers to support online poker THURSDAY & FRIDAY POKER ACTION PLAN: Tell MI lawmakers to support online poker

One action tomorrow will be to continue reaching out to the U.S. Congressmen not on Twitter but on Facebook. For this action, let's post and like pro-poker comments on longtime supporter Rep. Barney Frank's (D-MA) FB wall HERE, and on four others HERE, HERE, HERE, and HERE.

With the 1/23 action plan, we'll have reached every senator and governor, plus every congressman on either Facebook or Twitter! With this, we'll have reached all but twelve congressmen via the action plan.

These can be done in just a couple of minutes. Thank you for participating. The push is on, so I ask that everyone participate in this each day for the next few months. We can make the difference here. Thanks!
  1. With the news that Sen. Reid and Sen. Kyl are discussing online poker legislation, we can be sure both are paying close attention to public reaction. Let's all do our part to ensure it's positive by sending NEW prefilled, fully editable tweets to Sen Reid, Sen. Kyl, and Sen. McConnell: HERE, HERE, and HERE. Let's also post and like pro-poker comments on Sen. McConnell's Facebook wall HERE.
  2. Let's send the Senate Indian Affairs Committee members these NEW tweets: HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, and HERE. [Speed tip: Click these links with either your middle mouse button or CTRL + your left mouse button to open these in separate tabs. Then, go tab-by-tab to knock them out.]
  3. Several U.S. Congressmen not on Twitter are on Facebook. Let's post and like pro-poker comments on longtime supporter Rep. Barney Frank's (D-MA) FB wall HERE, and on four others HERE, HERE, HERE, and HERE.
  4. Let's send a prefilled tweet promoting today's action plan HERE.
Please reply in this thread with "tweeted", "done", etc. to encourage others to participate. The past 128 actions have generated triple-digit participation -- with around 500 participants over the past two days (!!) -- so let's keep it growing. Thanks!

If you wish to do more today, let's reach out to the Senate Indian Affairs Committee via Facebook with respectful requests for them to support poker. Simply like the pro-poker posts and make a short, supportive post of your own. When commenting on preexisting posts, please be sure the post is appropriate for pro-poker comments.

Congressman G. K. Butterfield (D-NC) is now on Twitter, so I've included him in today's action plan. Also, his official website lists a new Facebook URL, at http://www.facebook.com/congressmang...=wall&filter=1. It's new, so we have a nice shot to get attention!

Immediately following this evening’s State of the Union speech, a live panel featuring senior White House advisors answering questions about the President’s speech will be taking questions directly from Twitter.

Let's all submit questions. I wrote up a fully editable tweet HERE as a starting point. Thanks!
