I am concerned that the payout amount will be large enough to bankrupt SWC entirely.
well the parlay was based on 3 events occuring not 2 and I stand by the calculation.

The way a parlay works is you need all the events to occur. Seals said they will pay. I read it in the graopevine.

there's likely one or two pots for 10 bucks but i'll bet the mode loss is 3 pennies or maybe 3 bucks now with bitcoin going up?

you will get your 3 bucks.

Re: SWCPoker - Bitcoin poker

So they are not paying withdrawals? Even with bitcoin?
It's so bad now. The one site who pays quick is ignition and that site is awful. Such a sad state of affairs. If this site could pay out fast they could probably do well, as a Lot of people are trying bitcoin. So is that the word now....not paying out? I was just about to make a Deposit today.

Re: SWCPoker - Bitcoin poker

They are still paying out within hours, as always.

People are referring to a glitch in the software that occurred for a bit in '15 and also in '17. Support is calculating refunds (including BCC) and say they will be processed within days. It has nothing to do with deposits/withdrawals.

I'm looking forward to some unexpected chips in my account (though they were mine the whole time to begin with).

Support/management has said these refunds will be processed within days, which doesn't seem like too much of a burden. They didn't handle this situation perfectly, but they are making it right - soon.

I've no idea what my xmas present will be, but I'm looking forward to receiving it. In the meantime, the money and the games are as secure as usual so I'll keep playing. gl to us

Re: SWCPoker - Bitcoin poker

Just wanted to let everyone know that I have successfully received my bitcoin cash and converted it to bitcoin and redeposited it on seals. Since btc is going at 4200 and bcc is going at 660 the net result was an increase of 8/1/17 bankroll of 660/4200 or over 15% of free money!!!

Keep in mind that this money is available to ALL players with a balance on 8/1/17 so claim yours today!

Also, keep in mind that seals certainly doesn't have solvency issues as they coulda pocketed the bitcoin cash instead of giving it to players and probably woulda made billions!

ok not billions but a crapload of money for sure.

Deposits and withdrawals are fine, and they always have been. By far the fastest on the net. Fast enough that I have never understood why people kept a roll on site.

yes mixed games do go. perhaps you can swap bank money or funds on another poker site in exchange for seals chips. that way you don't have to mess with btc/deposit process.

That or you could go directly to the seals chatbox and ask there. You'll probably have to send first if you don't have a reputation though.

How long did it take people to hear back from the initial email request for the Bitcoin cash? I sent them an email Wednesday afternoon and no reply yet

Re: SWCPoker - Bitcoin poker

They have some big fish to fry at the moment. I'm sure that's taking up most or all of their efforts right now.

The more we harass them, the longer it will take for them to finish computing how much we are owed, the longer it takes for us to get paid.

This is why I've remained mostly silent with all the stuff happening.

Hi, reply to the email should be automatic. Then they will ask you to provide your SN, last transaction date and time, and bitcoin cash address. Remember you need a bitcoin cash addy NOT bitcoin. I downloaded electroncash.org free bcc wallet then just gave them that addy. In 12 hours or less you will get your bitcoin cash. Then I went to changelly.com and converted it to bitcoin cause i wanted bitcoin but you can convert it into any currency obviously.

Bob, you're super reputable but you are really stuck on this glitch? You do realize that when it occurs is generally is not reproducible and will be BLATANTLY obvious that you got stiffed a part of the pot. I assume you have all of your hand histories where this occurred right? Because if it happen to me EVEN ONCE I would immediately save the hand history and email it to seals.

The site isn't growing because people are still not adopting bitcoin widespread; has nothing to do with a glitch that maybe 10 people know about? And I actually play and receive bitcoin cash and have a handle on the action and it is certainly growing.

Sure it's no Ignition Poker, but check out the ignition thread when you are bored one day. You will see TONS of people who are owed money. TONS of money.

Oh but they have all the fish!!! The discos and 5% rake are worth it!!! bovada/ignition will not refund their money yet you are waiting for what I guarantee is no more than $6.

And don't get me started with acr and chico. Oh god.

I can't get the client to download to the correct folder, with all my other clients/downloads. The file saves to a folder I cannot access?

Yes and no.

I'm aware of the problem, but I'm not letting it bug me. There are too many hands to go through over a two year period of playing micros to 30/60 limit holdem and everything in between on seals for me. It's a lot of hands. I multi tabled a lot over that span so it's not as obvious as you seem to think. For all I know they may owe me nothing, or a lot, or anything in between. I just want it to be over at this point and I think they're going to make it right very soon.

What games and stakes? Games do run headsup eventually if you start tables, and sometimes three- or four-handed. Rarely more, and you do have to be willing to sit for a while. It's a good thing to do while doing something else.

Pineapple runs all the time.

Re: SWCPoker - Bitcoin poker

Fair enough Bob

I hope you get paid everything you are owed. Fixed limit holdem is my favorite game as well. I've been on the pulse of this site for flhe especially the past two years and have not seen many 3 handed games; it's basically heads up. I don't play 30/60 or anywhere as high as you but I would imagine at those levels all the action is heads-up despite being at a 6m flh table.

Fixed limit holdem is not a popular variant so you will be playing heads up which can not be glitched.

Trust me the bcc distribution is 100X more important and complicated than this glitch which you have not posted any hands.

Re: SWCPoker - Bitcoin poker

In case anyone missed it, the swcpoker representative on bitcointalk.org made a statement today. They have finished figuring out what they owe now they're adding it all up, or something like that. They plan to release the refunds within 36 hours from about 8am est this morning. So likely by tomorrow evening we should get paid.

cheers

I've played 3+ handed at nearly every stake 20/40 or lower. Also, I don't play limit holdem exclusively. In fact, I can't think of a variant that I haven't played on swcpoker.

Re: SWCPoker - Bitcoin poker

WTF is up with these fees....i just $130 worth of BTC from my coinbase to Blockchain and I paid over $6 in fees.

overally, I paid $21 in vig on only $140, just to go from my visa debit ---> coinbase ----> blockchain ----> poker site

outrageous.

whats strange is that coinbase charged me $6 to send from one wallet to another....yet blockchain only charged me $0.52 to send same amount.

Glad you were wrong. My refund just now was ~$500 and that's before I request the bitcoin cash. So around $575.

Re: SWCPoker - Bitcoin poker

got a substantial refund as well. wow! good work seals!

edit: also, i apologize to bob. I was clearly wrong about the amounts of money owed and the nature of the glitch. I do feel I was right about seals being trustworthy and solvent and agreeing to refund players.

damn this is awesome.

Re: SWCPoker - Bitcoin poker

.279 BTC refund (plus whatever the equivalent in BCC) so I'm pretty happy.

Nice to see a room do constantly try to do their best by the players for a change.

gl all
