Boy, are you too shtu-shtu-shtu-STUPID to see that would cost them money?

More likely is they can't afford better, higher bandwidth servers, because there's very little traffic. Sad, because this is definitely one of the best sites out there.
What makes them more money? Getting in more hands where a winner wins more or playing less hands that are more even so u play longer?

Hello TwoPlusTwo forums,

We have been asked by our players to make an account here to answer questions. We understand there can be no answers from us about promotions, so we won't respond to these.

We are working on improving the platform and expect to launch new software in early 2018.

I'm pretty sure it's fine to answer questions about promotions as long as you don't promote your promotions.

edit: maybe I'm wrong -

I feel like it should be fine for someone to ask a question like "hey, why didn't I get paid for this promotion"

Super. As I already mentioned in this thread:

As it says in your ban reason, you need to contact us before posting as a rep.

You could respond to those, but via PM.

No one's saying they can't ask, but subsequent discussion should generally be via PM.

2+2 could be floating in sklanksy dollars, if they had accepted bitcoins back then when it was offered to them as a rep payment

swc rep: will you lower the minimum cashout value?

I'm not a rep. However the word on the street is that there will be no minimum cashout when the new client comes out.

I'm not a rep. This is the response from support that I got:

you can reply that:

We understand the current withdrawal requirement is a pain point for players. It is noteworthy that we have never charged a player for a cashout in the history of SwC Poker. Finding a comfortable solution has been difficult due to the high fees of the Bitcoin network, but we are committed to solving it.

I have also complained about the minimum withdrawal amount in the past. My thought was that it keeps lower stakes players from feeding the games and then the action dries up. But I certainly understand their point of view as I sent bitcoin yesterday with a $15 miners fee and 20 hours later it still does not have a single confirmation. I would suggest they accept a variety of crypto's. At least those available on Coinbase as it's the most popular exchange. They can return the crypto upon withdrawal in a cheaper method for sending transactions unless request for bitcoin by the player, in which the player is required to pay the transaction fee. They cannot sustain a profitable business model with the current transaction fees. This would allow for smaller cashouts and hopefully see an influx in rake for the site.

Dash (fomerly Darkcoin) lowered transaction fees to pennies. It's also faster, and less congested than Bitcoin. It may also be added to Coinbase this coming year. It also has a privacy feature, even if not as good as some of the other privacy coins.

But yeah, for fee issues, Dash is the best among BTC, ETH, LTC, BCH, and itself.

I didn't read the whole tread but so I'm sorry if it was already mentioned but could someone give me a run down of what the changes/improvements are to be with this "new client" in early 2018.

Also I look forward to hearing about how they plan to solve the transfer fees problem. If only bitcoin was a fast and feeless coin it would be much better suited to something like online gambling.

Your guess is as good as anyone else's at this point.

Was this just a troll, or did SWC literally post and ghost?

Since I don't imagine a site would ever troll a thread about them, I assume what you're actually asking is if that account is legitimate - the custom Poker Site Rep undertitle means that it is.

But given that there has only been three posts (including yours) since they were verified, it's not surprising they haven't posted. Non-advertising reps are only allowed to answer direct non-promotional questions, so they may not have seen an opportunity to post yet.

Fair enough. Thanks for the info. I was just wondering because they also seem to have ghosted on bitcointalk. Their last login/post there was on 12/20 and there have been 16 posts (including direct questions) since then.

Fairly minimal at this point. Some OFC games, occasionally a draw game, some very-small-stakes and very-small-field tournaments.

I play and seed draw games, limit holdem, and most PLO variants. Out of those the most popular on seals is clearly any 5 card PLO variant. Used to hate it but now I love 5 card more than 4 card.

One issue is getting money on. They might need to start accepting bitcoin cash to lower fees. As an example I went to coinbase & got $500 of bitcoin a few days ago. I paid a half a percent vig to coinbase compared to preev which they always mark up like i'm not gonna notice. Then I paid 4% for the debit card deposit. Then I paid 3 % on that cause my bank charged 3 percent on international transactions. Then I paid a $15 mining fee. Because of the low mining fee, my transaction took 2 days to get one confirmation. I'm not sending to blockchain or an intermediary wallet cause 2 minings fees.

So to deposit 500 I paid over 60 bucks.

It's a rich man's currency. Even a 1k deposit pays a hefty fee.

Is there any way to send and receive BTC without fees? It seems like a nightmare with those level of fees. Not to mention the swings in value. It doesn't seem worth it.
