Forum members should be able to make pretty accurate estimates of the locations of most of our Supernova and Supernova Elite VIPs.

so there are 2 of my friends who already 3 time ironmans and running for sne this year, and I'm a 2* sne and I will participate an Ironman event at the end of July, so maybe I can be the first ever with both "titles"?

My guess would be Russia has biggest amount of total SNE's and Canada has highest ratio.

Netherlands has quite a few too based in NL, malta and UK. I think our ratio is pretty high as well. Dutchies like their PLO/SNGs rakerape

Now that we're in the second half of the year, any idea when the info re: SNE/changes to VIP system for 2016 will be released?

We have recently begun the process of evaluating our VIP rewards for 2016. The VIP Club is a key element of our product offering so any changes are thoroughly evaluated and discussed across multiple departments. It is our intention to announce changes by mid-October.

You announced likely changes about 12 months ago and still haven't decided what to do? That's a pretty thin bluff to run on us. It's obvious you've already made the decision and are delaying announcement in hopes that regs will continue to pay high amounts of rake only to pull the rakeback rug out from under us at the last possible minute.

Last year we did a full review which resulted in the one change for WCOOP tickets and a high likelihood of significant changes for 2016 which we announced. This year we have begun a similar full review. Trends change over time so we are essentially beginning with new and updated information. There is a lot of data which needs to accumulated, analysed, and discussed by multiple departments.

I do know that we still expect significant changes for 2016. I do not yet know the magnitude of the changes nor the details of exactly how they will be implemented.

Planning to release the details in the last few months of the year is a grubby moneygrab by PS. Given you knew 12 months ago that significant changes would be made for 2016, analysis should have been done and details released no later than mid year to give SNE chasers ample opportunity to adjust their plans.

I dont think you guys should be that worried. Given current rake (and winrates) liquidity would dry up quite hard if they axe too much rakeback so its not in pokerstars best interest anyways. That is if their horizon is not too shortterm (amaya)

I do agree October is a joke. But whatever, I think pokerstars is 0/12 last time i counted on keeping themselves on twoplustwo deadlines about announcement, decisions, or player meeting reports, so you guys shouldnt be surprised probably will be 1 december anyways
