I had $20 left on SB poker and decided to ask chat if there was any deposit bonuses available, they said yes and gave me a code to enter and right after i deposited (the minimum they said was $50 to get the bonus) and entered the code, i had to email support to "request the bonus " also which i found weird but i did it anyway and i went back to play and they blocked me and my account. I don't usually play on SB that much but i was only playing 5/10 nl and i was liking it so decided to make the deposit and keep playing multi-tabling. I had money on the site i won via the Cardschat forum games which i had been using for Months now with no problems but now i can't log-in to my poker account even to use the last $20 i have.

It just says " This account is blocked, contact support" which i did many times and they haven't replied to any of my emails about why my account has been blocked nearly 9 days later. I'm furious b/c i spoke to 2 people via chat and they assured me i would get the bonus within 24-48hours before i made the deposit and then i could start playing to get Comp points to release the bonus in $10 increments. I've spoke to chat several times via the sportsbetting sportsbook since i can't log-in to my poker accout on the laptop and i even tried to play poker on there via the browser and it says the same thing about my account being blocked and chat keep passing me to a "specalist" to deal with it but he has no idea either, 1 of them mentioned they where checking my card, another mentioned eligibility so i sent them a pic of my latest bank statement and a pic of my VISA card which i made the deposit with showing my name, etc, and i asked them again what d they need? in another email for my account to get unlocked along with my $50 and still no reply..

I know it's only $70 i have but it's more about the principle than the money b/c I've never been treated so badly by a poker site, esp after making a deposit and i would be grateful for any help, thanks.

I don't play at SportsBetting, but I do play on the same network at BetOnline. I haven't heard of them randomly closing accounts that are playing microstakes for no reason.

Please post all emails and chat transcripts to you from them and from you to them. What is your poker nickname at SportsBetting? Where are you located?

At this point your only course of action is to continue to follow up with them until you hear back. Email, call them or use Live Chat once every other day and see if you can't get more information from them about their reason for suspending your account. It could just be a mistake or that somebody reported you for something. If you've done nothing wrong then I think you will probably get those funds back.

Hi @MCAChiTown for the response but i had to leave for 4 Days an i couldn't get my 2+2 password to log in as i was always on auto-login yet the forum made players change pw's back a while ago an i couln't get access to the PW's saved on my laptop but i didn't have my laptop with me so i couldn't get access till i got back so apologies for the late response.

In response to your question i have all emails from them to me and vice versa and i'm sure the chat logs are saved somewhere on my laptop also but i'm not too great with the computer and i mostly know only how to attach screenshots and pics to emails but i do have all emails from them and with any help i could attach them or even just send them copied and paste if i have to but i'm sure i'll be able to with help attach the emails as they're all saved, with some guidance on here i'm sure i'll be able to definitely attach the emails but unsure where the chat logs may be, i tried to copy and paste the chat logs also and i'm sure they're saved also somewhere on here also but i'll leave that for now as i received a final email just after i left on the 12/11/18 but i couldn't log into 2+2 so i had to wait until i got back, it said this
"Good day Colin,
This is Leo from Customer Support, trust this email finds you well.

Kindly be advised that your deposit made on the 11/05/2018, was unfortunately unsuccessful as it was declined by the credit card provider, please note that you would need to contact your credit card provider and inform them that you are making international purchases, once this is done you would then need to make a successful deposit in order to have the account reinstated.

My SBpoker nickname is FatalFury and i'm from Scotland which comes under the UK.

What i don't understand is that in the sportsbook there is $50 but my poker account is still locked and this is where i used the cashier button to make the deposit and i was able to play just about 5 hands to see and it let's me play but i left the account even with the $50 still in it and when i made the deposit via my bank card it went through at my side as being no problems so why would they give me the cash in the sportsbook instead of poker account, they even said to me that i would be able to transfer the funds to my poker account within 24/48 hrs so if card wasn't accepted then why would they give the funds to the sportsbook if card didn't work? I appreciate your help and advice in this matter but i'm left even more confused now as it's like they allowed the deposit and now they say this about not being accepted, i use the same card to deposit and withdraw monies from pokerstars and 888 where i withdraw and deposit poker monies from these sites as i have over 1k lying on PS now and several hundred on 888poker and ACR/BCP and the same on several i-poker accounts which i like to try and keep running up by playing micro-stakes multi-tabling 5/10/10/20 so i can run up my bankrolls and by playing alot of MTT's and SnG's also, i like using deposit bonus codes to get free tickets and so many other things that can earn me money also as it's all free money but that's mainly on 888 and PS, i made another 4x$50 deposits on Pokerstars where i could get a cash prize each time or 25-30 spins each time on casino games which i ot 4 times on 2 different games and just as usual i never have any problem depositing or withdrawing and i have never had any problems with any sites which is why i'm more confused with this SB deposit, it makes no sense, i look forward to hearing any advice or help in what i should do next as if i can't play with it on SB poker then i'll not be using in the portsbetting.Ag sportsbook when i open it up via the browser but it still won't let me play poker, thanks for getting back to me but what would you say is best way to pursue this matter from here when i'm being told that deposit never went through yet i can use it in the sportbook for what seems like ein bar poker, thank again and i hope to speak to you soon, just tell me what else i can provide the emails via attachments or i'll just copy/paste them if i have to? Thanks, Colin.

That's one massive wall of text bro. Please consider taking a college English or writing class. It will help you get your ideas out more efficiently and succinctly.

To your issue...
Your card issuer declined your transaction to the SportsBetting processor. Contact your card issuer and tell them to allow the transaction. It may be too late for that though. Ask your card issuer to allow international purchases going forward.

Credit cards and debit cards are not the best deposit method to use these days. It is not uncommon for them to get declined. You should consider becoming familiar with Bitcoin. It's not difficult to learn to use it and it's well worth it to know about. It will save you time and money if used properly.

If SportsBetting has the same process as BetOnline, and I bet it does, then all of your deposited funds will initially go to your sportsbook page. You need to manually transfer the funds from the sportsbook over to poker in the poker client.

The $50 may show in your sportsbook account, but I don't think they'd let you wager it at the moment. Once you make a successful deposit you should be good to play.

Hi mate,
apologies for the wall of text, i usually try and use paragraphs but my keyboard was playing up and i was just trying to type in ein ASAP.

Thanks for replying as i looked on here 2 Days ago to see if you had replied and i couldn't find the thread so i thought it had been deleted or moved but thankfully i found it tonight. I've been meaning to use bitcoin for a while now but will defo look into it now and will also get my bank to allow international payments but i'm sure it already does allow it.

Regarding SB i'll never take my business back to them because i told them i would be making a deposit and that i didn't want anything to pop up that i should know about from them and they assured me ein would be fine. I mean they could've still let me play on my poker account with the little $20 i had rather than block me out of it.

I just checked the sportsbetting sportsbook and it still had the $50 in my account so i played about 20 hands of BJ to see if it would allow me and i only lost $1 overall so they're letting me use the money and my account is at $49. I'm not sure what would happen, if for example, i used the cash and lost it all or on the other hand managed to run it up to say $100 would they say the cash houln't have been there to use so all profits are void? What o you think? Should i email them and tell them about it and how i can use it as i'm an honest Man but i do feel like just gambling it all and walking away but if i can resolve it i would but would they not just take the cash back from my bank account if i lost it anyway as i bet they'd find a way to get a deposit accepted via them having my bank details

Thank for taking the time to reply to me also MCAChiTown as i really appreciate the help regarding this matter.

If you need some information on getting started with Bitcoin then I can point you in the right direction.

I'm not sure what their thinking was regarding blocking you from using the poker client with your $20 still in the account. I'm also not sure why they put the $50 in your account if your bank declined the transaction.

I would think if you lose the $50 then they'll still want you to pay them. If you win anything you obviously wouldn't be able to withdraw it. As it stands right now they probably think you owe them $50 and at least $1 for sure. I'm not sure why you even attempted to use it without getting your deposit right with them.

I would email them and tell them you're trying to get your bank to allow international transactions, but you would be willing to use Bitcoin if it still won't go through. If you just want to be done with the whole situation then that's your choice to make.
