You sound like you're experienced enough to know the difference between ordered/confirmed. You have me worried
yeah, this is def. not my 1st rodeo...

tbh, my main concern is that my bank is not rejecting it.

spoke to umw live chat yestarday, and they game me all the outgoing details for the wire, so hopefully there is just some lag in the system...

Have had a confirmed withdraw on 5/9 that still hasn't hit my bank. Normally it's in my bank the day after.

Requested 5/5
Confirmed 5/9

Will update if/when I get it or hear anything new.

Same here. On my 4th day after "confirmed."

Pretty concerning that so many people have posted this.

I have more money sitting in UMW (other than the cashout). Has anyone sent money from UMW to a site recently? I'm considering shipping the rest of my UMW funds to a site (lol @ the fact that a site might be safer)...are deposits from UMW to poker sites going through???

I hope it is just a temporary delay. UMW is probably just overloaded with withdrawals from USA players. That being said, this thread has me a bit worried too. Hopefully someone will post soon that they just received a UMW withdrawal

Today is my 5th full business day with no money into my bank account. I have not seen anyone who has been paid sine may 6th. Anyone have any advice? Has it ever taken more than 5 business days to get their money from UMW? Are we screwed?

Support told me they would forward my withdrawal to the banking department to figure out the issue. She also said

QuickTender Live Support: Maybe it is also worth mentioning that the 4th and 5th of MAY were national holidays in Netherlands (this is where our bank is located), so it is possible that it has affected the time frames of the payment processing.

My withdrawal was processed on the 6th of May, seem irrelevant?

It's an attitude that I find quite commonplace among older / middle-aged people, who quite frankly lived the best years of their life with many more opportunities and higher standards of living than younger generations today.

Corporate employment is becoming the only sustainable livelihood for the average person; by the nature of corporate structure and corporate collusion, incomes are most certainly being driven down, and this will continue. If you look at the stagnation of incomes vs. the rising costs of living (especially when accounting for the skewed analysis generally provided by economists, i.e. goods consumed = higher standard of living, prima facie), the picture is not so pretty. Over the past few decades, it has undoubtedly gotten harder and harder not only to save money, but to avoid falling pray to debt bondage.
Not to hijack the thread but I disagree with this. I think what has changed is what people now consider necessities. You can furnish a house with things that would have been considered top of the line 15 years ago just by looking at the "free" section on Craigslist. We also are climbing our way out of the worst economic slump since the great depression yet I don't know anyone who gave up there cell phones or HDTV's.

I think it's pretty safe to say there are a lot of people living outside their means. Does that mean they don't make enough money? For some yes, but for most they just spend too much.

FYI: I'm trying to compare the processor used for phatcat's 5/10 withdraw to see if it's the same one as always. Will report back when it officially shows up on his online banking.

I've recently decided it is now a necessity to have an eWallet. I avoided it for a long time, but it seems in the current US climate its necessary to move funds. I was hoping I could get some advice from some of you that are experienced with UMW. I plan on setting up a second, seperate, checking account for Online Poker transactions only. Poker is only a supplemental income for me so I work full time also that I have my check direct deposited.

-Is it a good idea to have a separate account that you use only for Online Poker/Online Transactions?

-If so what are the risks, if any, are associated with using your main bank account? FWIW, I plan on getting a second one regardless but wonder how important it is to keep the accounts completely separate?

-I've read that LT22 said the local Credit Union's often charge $0 for Incoming Wires. When checking on potential Banks/Credit Union's is there anything specific besides the Fee's associated with the Wires I should be checking on(besides the normal fee's that wouldn't be associated with UMW)?

-I assume these Wires are international wires, is that correct?

-Is there anything else I should know about UMW when looking for a Bank/Credit Union to set up to use specifically for UMW/Poker?

If you can't answer these questions ITT for any reason, feel free to PM me. I appreciate any help anyone can and is willing to provide.

Is anyone able to load the UMW/QuickTender website? It appears the site is down...

Just this morning I noticed my pending QT withdrawal is finally no longer "pending" in my cake account after 25 days, but now the QT website is down.

yes it's good idea to have separate accounts. if the bank decides to no longer serve you, then you don't have to scramble to change all your bill pay info/debit cards/etc

look at all fees associated with bank accounts, incoming wire fees, checking fees, etc. I get 4.25% APR on up to $25k in a Rewards Checking. It is an amazing return for a liquid account

Hopefully, the site being down isn't a sign that UMW is out of business. That being said, it's only a matter of time before they do get shut down.

Site is back up.

Has anyone tried shipping money FROM umw TO a poker site in the past few days? If so, did it work?

I have some extra $ sitting there (other than my "confirmed" withdrawal), and I'm wondering if I should ship it to a site until things look better. Has anyone successfully done that this week?
