Should we worry about UseMyWallet / UMW? - Internet Poker

After having money from Ewalletexpress seized by the Federal Govt., is there any reason not to worry the same will happen with UseMyWallet? How was Ewalletexpress a different company than UseMyWallet when it comes to US Federal law?

Relevant question: does UMW deal with sportsbooks? Also possibly relevant: I don't believe it's used by any of the biggest US poker rooms now.

Relevant difference: UMW is by invitation only, though I'm skeptical that makes much of a difference.

The way i understand the info on usemywallet, you need to email rpmpoker ask them about usemywallet and they will send an invitation to open an account at usemywallet.

i think the colin feral thing is supposed to be me looking at this scam website, and deciding against it. i look back briefly because i want it to be so, but alas........it is not, so i walk away from the portrait.

I am about to use this, Being on the Merge network its the only way to cashout via wire.

Are their any opinions on the risks involved using this method? Do you think I should just be patient and just cashout via check? The thing that makes me the most nervous about this method is that it caters only to US players, where scruitny is the highest....

some good info here. i agree with the "use it to move not store" reasoning. is there a thread where people talk about their own specific w/d's using this method? im about to sign up...

fwiw: have seen umw logos on power (cake), AP, and PO (merge).
