Dumb q:

Do you use btc on tables or is it converted and you play on standard stakes tables ($.50/1.00)?

You can buy them off of ebay. You will pay more, but it is easily the most convenient method.

I use bitinstant, which lets you deposit at any store that does Moneygram (Walmart, CVS, etc.). Pretty easy method, but there is a $3.95 fee.

What is the quickest way to acquire bitcoins? What is the most convenient?

Thanks.

BitInstant is cheap and easy. You bring cash to a nearby Walmart, 7/11, CVS, bank branch and get coins within an hour. Fastest and no chance of scam, but there is a fee.

Thank you.

Is there a way to get them online quick and easy, or do I have to phyiscally go to a store?

Ok how about and elaborate, en genius way of giving the finger to the DOJ. Unfortunately I dont think your going to see alot of traffic on the site anytime soon, maybe if a Fed bill passes the rest go bye bye.

I asked a legitimate question because I'm honestly curious about the Bitcoin currency and you trolled me with a ******ed response, so forgive me if I responded the way I did.

I'm chill bro, just relaxing with some beers and not a care in the world. I am excited about FTP reopening early November though. Anyway sorry to intrude on your thread, enjoy Merge and your bit coin site with no traffic. Sorry I even asked about it.

1. same day cashouts
2. bitcoins cannot be frozen by DOJ--they're p2p
3. fiat money is guaranteed to decrease in value whereas bitcoins are inherently deflationary

if you can play on stars or party or whatever don't even bother with bitcoins or these sites.. this is for americans who want to play and actually cash out. I cash out everyday from my poker site of choice

On the bitinstant site, there is a video which guides you step by step how to do it via moneygram.

Re: getting bitcoins strictly online... (ie not having to go to 7-11)

You can do a bank transfer from a major bank. When you do, bitinstant will give you a routing number etc to transfer to. Instead if going to the bm bank, go to your online banking, and do the transfer online (transfer funds to another account)

The whole process will probably take less than two hours to get the btc. But make sure you btc wallet is up to date. This is usually the hold up with getting your coins.

Pros:
no government interference
low processing fees
decentralized and theoretically secure and anonymous

Cons:
people tend to hoard them due to zero inflation
constant target of hackers (see: betco.in)
price of BTCs wildly varies based on news, hacks, and big sells/buys

I play on SWC and have cashed out 2 times, I think one time it took 1 hour and another time it took 3 hours to cashout.

Traffic is light, and be aware, that sometimes the server locks up and your game will hang - and there is no indication of that other than trying to type in the chatbox - if what you type in the chatbox doesn't come up immediately, then the server is hung. Every reg on there seems to have had this problem. All I can say is if it happens to you just stay away for a day and come back next day. Not very scientific, but that's the only way I avoid this problem.

I know traffic's light but what stakes run typically? (haven't installed ldo)
