Satoshi Poker here. After hitting 1,000 active players today, we figured it was time for 2+2.

If you haven't tried bitcoin poker, it's the fastest growing part of the poker world. We think everyone will be playing in bitcoins in a few years, and many high-stakes players have already converted. I've been hooked as a player since 2012. Easy deposits & withdrawls are the best part.

New to bitcoins? You're in the right place.

We take security very seriously, and have a reputation for anti-cheating & collusion. All player funds are kept in a secure "cold storage" off-line.

Rake
-Lowest rake anywhere at 2%, capped at .035
-20% rakeback!

Chip system
At Satoshi Poker 1 BTC = s10,000. We did this to prevent the microstakes to vanish when bitcoin value rises as happened to Seals earlier. Some players might need some time to adopt to this, but we wish to set one system which will work for a longer timeframe.

Deposit and withdrawals
Deposits and withdrawals can be made through our client and through the private part of our website (click login on top of our site). Deposits and withdrawals are done instantly, but require 3 to 6 confirmations depending on the size of the transaction. Withdrawals above 10 bitcoins have to be approved manually to guarantee enough funds in the hot wallet to process other transactions. If you send an email to info@satoshipoker.org or send us a PM here we will make sure the transaction is processed as soon as possible.

How's the software? Someone should post a screenshot.

Listed under "Rake" that cap equals $3.50 which is larger than almost anywhere. Your tournaments are 10% rake. Highest industry standard rakeback at 20%? Highest?

And under "mentions" your first link is know to be the most worthless piece of junk around. Actually the are worse than worthless.

I guess I have been asleep while writing the introductionary post. Of course 20% isn't the industry highest.

@sinner - The picture works fine for me.

@JohnRambo - From the looks of that picture, you're a site pro. Is that correct?

@SatoshiPoker - I don't like that by playing on SatoshiPoker I have to agree to doing publicity for the site, If I win an amount that the management team thinks is "worthy of publicity". If I refuse to participate in the publicity, would that be considered as "wrong doing" by the site's terms? Which would allow you to confiscate my bitcoins...

If you're wondering what I'm talking about, read the site's TOC.

We would definately not force you to do publicity for the site or confiscate your funds. However, if some online poker milestone occurs, such as biggest pot ever, we will use that as a news item and your screen name will be mentioned. As we offer anonymous poker, you will remain anonymous during these news facts.

1. Because of the nature of Bitcoin Satoshi Poker will NEVER scan your hard drive or integrate any type of surveillance protocols into its software. We use common sense methodologies and have a dedicated security team that ensures that the integrity of our games are never compromised. We also like to get the community as involved as possible in fight against cheating. We have paid out over 500 bounties for capturing cheaters and counting http://grindabit.discussioncommunity...m-down-6437673 ..

2. No, we will never ask you for ID.

3. To generate random numbers we use the SIMD-oriented Fast Mersenne Twister pseudo-random numbers algorithm. Truly random data is used as a initialization vector. Random data initialization is done periodically which exclude any result prediction.

Over 60 officially licensed poker rooms have used this RNG method . It has been tested numerous times by our software partner Enterra.

4. Enterra does not sell software with super user access. Their source-code is locked and cannot be modified. We had the software audited by 2 independent security specialists who verified the integrity of all the algorithms and encryption protocols being used by our software.

5. Our peak hours tend to be nights US EST, although we are aggressively targeting the European and Asian markets as well.

Welcome to 2+2.
[and Satoshi thot I was a hardazz LOL...]

Why are there so many cheaters on your site for such low traffic? 500 and counting and you clearly don't catch everyone but there are only 1,000 actives?

Do your tournaments have hand-for-hand dealing on the bubble?

Why is the rake so high?

In short we have alot of repeat offenders. And instead of just standing by and letting the cheaters take control of the site (like other Bitcoin sites have done) we are fighting back.

Our rake at 2% is the lowest in the industry. Our rake-cap is consistent with all of the top 10 major poker sites.
