I would be a new player at WH, thus needing to rake $2000 to get the Ipad. Looking at their VIP scheme and the approximate details on your PLP website, this would get me 60000 points with a multiplier of 550% = 330000 points. This converts to ~$440 which is only 22% rakeback.

Are my calculations/assumptions correct? If so, is this a normal % rakeback on ipoker? I've never played on ipoker and don't fully understand the VIP schemes. For example, what would it take to get 30% rakeback?

Thanks for any help. I'm probably still going to do this anyway as with the new player bonus, RTR monthly race and the Ipad promotion, I imagine it all adds up to about 80+% rakeback anyway
Hey Jay

Firstly we musn't call it rakeback as it isn't!

The rakeback part of it for old accounts is rakeback...but overall it's a "return"

It may sound like semantics....and it is semantics...but it is necessary semantics.

It is always hard to put a return value on the VIP program because it depends on levels and multipliers. I must stress the monthly race is only eligible for players pre April 22nd 2010 due to some messed up rules.

But what is fair to say is that the overall return to new and dormant players is very high.
We and WH want you to play there and try the software. WH are a great brand and a heck of a lot more safe and trusted than many other brands out there in Poker World. They offer great value from month to month so you won't be disappointed

Best wishes

Re: *** Official RakeTheRake Support and Promotions Thread ***

RakeTheRake are you affiliated w/ Rakeback.com in any way? Is it possible to adjust my rake back affiliate to an existing FTP account?

Recently they have not been paying rake back owed. I would like to switch to RakeTheRake. Is it possible to switch rake back affiliates?

No, it's not. For someone who isn't happy with an affiliate, you sure give them a lot of links!

Hey takeManies87

Alas as Bobo Fett says, it is not possible to switch affiliates for FT.
However you know where we are now when you need rakeback/VIP at another room

Hi Altreg,

Rakeback at Full Tilt is never handled by the affiliates. It is dealt with by FT direct. Affiliates are not involved in the process so you should be paid as normal.

Hi,

If we have an existing William Hill account, which isnt tagged to you are we ineligible for the promo or can we get it tagged?

Also with regards to the AP/UB promo do we have to sign up by a certain time or could we sign up any time between the start and end of the promo period i.e. maybe rake 3000 in a month rather than 6.

Thanks in advance

Hiya,

You can certainly apply to have your account retagged to us. PM me your username/screen name

As for AP/UB

You can sign up and rake any time in the period.

Hey Maso777

As far as we are aware this will not affect Merge payments at all.

Will the DOJ indictment affect your ability to pay Full Tilt rakeback to non-US players, in particular players in Canada?

Hey FF

The payments are all made by FT direct and the affiliates have no involvement at all in the process.

We are still waiting to hear from FT on how rakeback payments will be affected but since we understand it's business as usual for the rest of the world, we cannot see why rakeback payments will affected. We hear some people are able to withdraw money etc so hopefully nothing will be affected for non-US players.

The bigger concern at the moment is US player funds etc.

Tomorrow will bring more information we hope from Stars/Tilt and AP/UB.

And we will then be able to update everyone with some solid facts rather than speculation.

Best wishes

All decisions on races will be decided in the next 48 hours.

The races which have finished so far will be honoured of course
Races which started on the 16th, we will need to decided upon soon.
Also races which are month long.

Again, all information (that we have) will be sent out tomorrow

Best wishes

The RTR freeroll at full tilt was put at times to suit the american players.
With them gone is there any chance you can put it earlier so it is in a better time for the general european player?

Hiya Aeis,

It was always at that time to suit the majority of the players around the world

We can definitely look at moving it in the future. This Sunday's will remain at 20:00 BST (19:00 GMT) for now and possibly next month's which we have already tabled. But we may look to move the time in June for May's promotion a couple of hours earlier.

Best wishes
