RTR, what were the reasons for redesigning? I cannot think of any problems with the previous site and cannot recall anyone complaining about anything.

Cheers
Hey guys, thank you for the feedback. This is exactly the sort of stuff we want to hear. We would like the occasional "great site" comment to of course, but we welcome all constructive criticism and would be grateful if you could post it here in the forum then we can track it all in one place.

To answer why we made the changes: -
The old site was a few years old and lacked a lot of functionality. Whilst we were very fond of the old orange site, it did get rather cluttered towards the end. In March 2010 we sent out a newsletter asking all existing RTR members to take part in a survey about what we could do to improve the site. We got hundreds of replies and taking as much as we could on board we launched the website as you see it now.

We realise that it wont be to everyone's liking and that some people don't like change to begin with, but we hope you will get used to it in time. We have added a Forum and Free Training (DragTheBar). We have added more functionality within the Your Account section so that everything is more transparent for the player so that they can see the deductions being made by the rooms (as and when we receive the information). We have made our promotions way easier to understand and navigate and everything now loads a lot faster.

Again, we appreciate that we can't please everyone all of the time, but we do our best to try to, so please give it a fair try and a bit of time at least and if you do have any suggestions (other than "Put the old site back up" ), we really would like to hear them and work with you continually improve your experience of the site.

Best wishes and thanks again for your continued patience.

What is this?
FT make a number of deductions from players

1. Player Marketing and Retention
This includes tournament overlays, bonuses and points spent in store.

2. Administrative Costs
This includes fraud, player fees, points used and local tax (if applicable, i.e. French Players).

Unfortunately that's as much as they break it down so we can't tell you exactly what your $60 was for. Most likely though for bonuses as they are throwing a lot of those about at the moment

Best wishes

I own a RTR skin and can't log in to my homepage. Also never got an email looking for input on future changes.

Also as a Juicy Stakes player, sad to see no more promos, are they being absorbed by another skin?

Any timeframe as to when the login problems will be fixed? I'd like to be able to access my account and summary tab especially since I'm going to be making my first deposits on 3 new sites tomorrow mid day.

Thanks

Hey OD,

It's not in the Cake software yet. Should be there tomorrow or early Thursday and we'll email you all.

I like the changes, I think it looks more user friendly for "novice" players and a great way to grab a bigger piece of market share.

Although I am frustrated because of the problems I had yesterday, also I'm an affiliate through RTR and my sites content has been removed, I e-mailed support and it looks like they're working on this though.

I thought on Merge you had to deposit within 60 days or risk losing the tag to your affiliate. It's possible I'm thinking of a different site as I know a bunch of sites have similar rules, but a confirmed answer would be good for those players who are signing up with the intention of not depositing immediately.

Thanks,

Hey LT22

That's definitely true at FT (deposit or receive P2P/freeroll) but not on Merge
Not sure about other sites.
