I read the full tilt now has mgr hits if you spend your iron man medals on tournament tickets. Is this true?

Nope this is not true.

Spending Iron Man medals to buy tournament tickets has no MGR impact.
And you actually earn rakeback on the fee when you use the ticket.

The only way you can incur a hit against your MGR from using this ticket would be if there was an overlay on the tournament.

Any chance you guys can increase the Betfair Race prizepool if numbers look good this month? It's had a huge drop which is annoying.

Yes absolutely. we will always increase races as rake increases.
As we mentioned in an email a few weeks ago, the race had been left at an artificially high $25k for many months after the move to OnGame to try and help with migration but we had to draw a line in the sand.

FYI The current race is still forecast to add a 10-15% extra return on play to the cash finishers - so the value is still pretty reasonable, especially to new players heading for the free iPad.

Many thanks for the terrific endorsements.

Regards the race payments - there are usually two reasons for a delay.
The first is that we often have to wait for about 10 days at the end of the month for the rooms to make sure that the stats are correct and that all transaction fees and, more importantly, chargebacks have been deducted.
Occasionally rooms are also missing a day or two's rake for whatever reason which they need to add back.

The second reason is we then depend on the room to make the payments once we send them the correct list. Some are brilliant and others, who shall remain nameless, are not so good!

Anyway we do try to get you guys the money as soon as possible

What days is FT RB calculated from, I know it's paid Friday but is it Friday to Thursday?
Also my PT/HEM always shows more rake paid than on your site page, why?

Full Tilt make payments on Fridays for the prior Tuesday-Monday 7 day period.

Poker tracking software tend to use the Dealt Method of rake calculation. This does not account for the majority of poker rooms on networks that use the Average Contributed or Weighted Contributed.
In addition these systems do not take in to account bonuses that have been deducted or any transaction fees or other costs that a poker room might be deducting.
Also the data that we get from the poker rooms for your rakeback statistics are often 24-48 hours behind real time whereas poker tracking software tends to be live.

is it possible to see daily rake and rakeback statistics, i'm particularly interested in full tilt poker, now you can only see how much rake you made in a whole month.

We have often considered adding that feature but often we have a problem where the rooms don't update the data for a few days and then you get a distorted picture of the month's daily performance.

Hey, I'm a UK player and would like to use you guys.

I'm looking to deposit around £200 and I want the best possible deal. Preferably playing at a UK site to dodge international transfer fees unless theres a method for US sites.

I'm a bit concerned about bank charges for withdrawals so if you guys could enlighten me on the best possible ways to withdraw cash (international transfers), that would be awesome. I've heard there are some cheap/free ways but also very costly ways which will cause charges of like $20.

I was actually looking for a place to pose a question for the RTR folks and I think this is it and the question has already been posed.

I, too, was wondering if there could be a feature that shows outstanding rakeback amounts. It could be as simple as adding two lines. One would be rakeback payment pending for Month, Day through Month, Day. The other would be current amount of rakeback for the current week. All you would have to do is add when the last update was made to the numbers and that would tell people what was and wasn't considered.

This would be a great improvement as just breaking it down by month does almost nothing for telling people where they are when you consider that most months don't start on Tuesday and beyond the first week payments against the outstanding amount have already been made.

This should be easy as you already know what is outstanding versus what has been paid. In fact, if posting like I stated is more than you want to do you could really add a line that states how much you have earned to date this month and how much has been paid. The obvious problem with that is that may or may not have a good portion of that amount's payment that is coming in the next rakeback payment.

and the idea mentioned above about being able to view each day's activities would be a good improvement, too. I think if you just made it clear that sometimes activity may not be from the day that it was generated but rather updated it would be fine, too. For the sites that update daily it would give a pretty clear picture.
