This is a pretty douchey way to reply to a customer. It's his right to post on these forums if he felt mislead so that he can warn others. Saying 99% of members would just email is pretty silly. Seems like you didn't want the bad press aired out here and I can't blame him for expressing his concerns with the recent state of online poker and everything involved with it. You shouldn't really question the customers take but rather just address the situation. In fact, he did email first like you suggestion and even posted that email.

Thanks for your feedback. In transferring the $600 we did what we felt was in the player's best interest. I think it is fair to state that given the relationship that we try to nurture with our members that most of them would email us first on something so simple like this. And any of the mods here and most players would also advise that as countless threads show when people have issues with an affiliate.

Also , just to FYP, the player has NOT emailed us at all. That email that he pasted was one that i sent last night at just before 11pm local time.
And additionally we did actually say that he has a right to post here when we said that it was his prerogative

And as stated in the original reply we are more than happy to resolve it with him. He just needs to get in touch.

Thank you for addressing the issue and I won't press it further aside from saying you could have just done without belittling the customer and assuming he should email etc when he may have wanted to inform others on this board. As a business you should have simply addressed his concern.

My main question is the logistics and planning of this promotion. Was this promotion looked into further or was it thrown together at last minute? Was there research to find a distributer prior to launching this? It is very misleading to many because I know for one I was going to do this because I thought it was great value. The value was in the fact that I could deposit small, earn enough for the iPad 2 and have that sent to me without having to deal with any headaches, as I likely would with withdrawing my funds. Therefore, there was value in that sense.

With how it ended up playing out, it seems poorly planned and a better promotion to name a high demand product free opposed to the typical $ bonus many affiliates offer, which this essentially turned out being.

On a side note, which of the current U.S eligible rooms provide rakeback automatically to your account?

On Poker Nordica I get it direct deposited daily at 1:00 AM CST- Merge Network.

I have a profile settings question after the new update.

Something is not entirely clear for me. What should I should put in now in the 'Your Screen Name/Account Number' field in the Payment method. Is it my Tilt username or my raketherake username/accountnumber because there's also an membercode/username connected to the RTR account (first and second field in the 'your raketherake account').

Just asking to be on the safe side because my RTR username is different from my Full tilt username.

read RTR's post above...if you sign up with the site directly, they don't give you as much back. part of the way affiliates attract players is to offer them extra incentives that the site wouldn't give you

i guess i'm just wondering if they'll still run promotions like this after june 1 when they stop allowing rakeback and stuff
