A pretty blatant attempt to create a secondary room/casino apparatus apparently has taken hold. I just got an email from something called "Superwins", and the promo art looked pretty suspect from the start (same $5k deposit bonus offer, similar look to the graphics). I go to the site and lo/behold...it's Lock with a paint job...right down to the Terms and Conditions (identical to Lock's).

There are people who dig more thoroughly than I - I'm sure the details of "Superwins" will prove to most here on 2+2 that this is purely a stab by the people that run Lock to create more depositors.

I'm a bit busy this evening but when I return to the office I'll see about getting into this a bit more (looking around and such). For now, obviously - for those who might not know what is going on - beware.

On the surface, it looks like a pretty sick attempt by the people at Lock to wipe the slate clean and start over. Just speculation at this point (though I do have some first hand knowledge of how Lock operates having dealt with Shane via the LPCR), but don't be surprised if Lock itself continues minimal operation until "Superwins" takes hold - responding to a few emails, maybe even paying one or two cashouts. But to me, this seems like a pretty transparent attempt to eventually let Lock die off and use "Superwins" as the new mode of operations.

"Superwins" might even get cashouts out to players within whatever timeframes they state. If this new promotional campaign brings in $$ to the new apparatus, to them it would be as though Lock just vanished and there goes all the "responsibilities" therein.

They played this sickening game perfectly - leaving Revolution in October in the dead of night, being silent on the supposed Jamie Larson realty scam and let people focus on that...all the while, since October probably, working on this new room. Wouldn't even be surprised if "Crane Ridges" was the new "social media director" at Superwins...

EDIT: From Yur Daddy in the NVG thread - "Quinn" from Lock support responded to Yur's query about Superwins

"This site is not related to Lock but is on the same global platform as us. We have implemented our own solutions to speed up processing times."

As far as I know, Lock is on no platform other then their own operation (ie: no network, or partner skins)

I tried to login with my lock user name but it doesn't work. I feel like this is an attempt to recoup the money lock is down by getting new users. If that makes any sense... Same server, same tournaments, same player, same skin but white.
AHH I'm pissed. I want my lock money over 5k

Website is connected to lock poker, no doubt. Link shows the owner is Jennifer Larson and her other 11 domains owned, she has a lot more than just 2 poker related domains. There all mostly non-operational.

PokerNewsBoy is owned by Gerry Polt. (or Poltorak)

http://www.linkedin.com/pub/dir/Gerry/Poltorak

He works for Lock as their affiliate manager.

He posted here a few times in the Lock forum. He said that the complaints in the subforum were all fake, created a a few people with hundreds of gimmick accounts, and that most real Lock players were in fact very satisfied customers.

He's a complete joke.

Wow, I didn't think the Lock situation could make me feel more sickened than it already has, but now this.

If anybody locates Jennifer Larson, please let me know because at this point I'm willing to jump on a plane just to track down that ***** and **** her upside her head.

A question for anybody: Is the Poker Players' Alliance aware of what is going on with Lock? Are they trying to do anything about it? I mean what is the point of having an organization like that if a scam like this can go on in plain sight?

I just feel so sick right now. CROOKS!!!

Jen Larson, Jamie Larson, Shane Bridges, Eric Rizen & others should all be jailed for this scam. I really hope the day will come when Shane and Jen are in handcuffs while being pelted with eggs.

^^ From the whois page linked above via theonepunter:

Not really all that sure what this info means or what use could be derived from it - other than Larson appears to be living in Canada even after all that's gone on with Lock over the past 18 months. You'd think with all the documented North American players owed, someone would be enterprising to at least investigate the potential for some kind of legal action.

I seriously doubt Jen Larson puts her address of residence on a domain name registration.

I think it's more the case with registering a domain website that the information signed up is publicly available but very hard to find. Also with like all tracking websites (such as sharkscope) they much prefer to use an opt-out system then an opt-in system.

^I don't understand what you are saying. The beginning I think I might get what you're saying but the latter part about tracking websites I've no idea.

Basically I doubt very much that she put her information on that website but the information about the domain name is public and freely available. Therefore she would have to request for her information to be taken off (as in opt-out).

Is this hooker Jennifer Larson trying to steal people's horses also? I am astonished... Is that even legal? Sounds like underground gambling! HAHAHAHAHA... Everything I read makes me hate lock poker more and more
JFC, what's wrong with you? Are you seriously calling someone at 3:30 in the morning because a poster did a reverse search on the name Jennifer Larson and their website came up as a match?

What makes more sense to you - that the same Jen Larson that runs Lock Poker and is known to have ties to Vancouver also runs a restaurant in South Dakota and is a realtor in Mississippi, or that maybe there's more than one person named Jen Larson in the world that is a contact on a domain name?

The Jennifer Larson shown in the whois information for that site has nothing in common with the one for Lock, Superwins, etc.

This is the kind of stupid stuff that gets threads like this deleted. Of course I'm not going to do that; I'll just remove the links to the business with no proven ties to Lock/Superwins, but if that's the direction people are going to take this thread, we might have to close it own. Use some common sense.

Nice job on the initial whois find, but I think you've jumped to some pretty hasty conclusions here on the rest of this. Unless I'm missing something, all your "Jennifer Larson" search is finding is domains with that name as a contact. When you find businesses in that list that appear to have no relation to poker, show an address in a completely different area, use a different domain host, etc., I'd say there's a pretty good chance that it's a different Jen Larson.

I'll just add that if you want to find more associated domains, it seems to me that following the email addresses and less common contact names (like JDB Services) rather than the very common name of Jen Larson would be much more productive. I just did that, and found all sorts of poker-related domain names, and no South Dakota restaurants, Mississippi realtors, or teacher's websites.
