I was registered in a guaranteed tourney and the site went down about 3 minutes before the start. Tourney was never cancelled. It stated registration closed. Took 5 days to get my buy in back but I got it back.

I’m assuming if 1 hand was played according to their posted terms the tourney would of been a chop or ICM for any remaining players but since no hands were played the buy ins were returned.

I don’t think a for profit business doing something shady to financially benefit is a silly conclusion. Actually am pretty sure you can throw a dart at any newspaper in a line from the last 20 years and have a good shot at hitting one with a story of a business doing something less than ethical for money.

This company has significant operational and management issues. I don't see how anyone can argue otherwise.

This is not how a regulated poker site should be handling situations like this IMO. Most, maybe even all, offshore ones own these issues and keep players informed. Why can't a licensed poker site do it?

It's time to stop defending this operation. It's time to demand better from regulators.
This seems like a profound overreaction. The site went down. When it came back up, monies were chopped up for those mtts that had closed registration. For those still with open registration, buy-ins were refunded. I received my funds back within 8 hours or less (they were there the first time I logged back in).

There's no question that WSOP and 888/DE customers would benefit from better customer service. There's no question the software and tournament schedules could be improved, and the multistate compact advertised better. But making demands isn't likely to accomplish anything beyond raising one's blood pressure and level of righteous indignation.

I understand you'd like to get free money, but I would expect that you won't. When a site crashes at a time when a tournament with a guarantee is still open for registration, buy-ins will be refunded. It's absurd to think that for a tourney with 75-180 minutes of late reg, the guaranteed prize pool should be chopped up among the handful of players that registered before or within the first few minutes of the start. I can't imagine any site having this policy.

I was just saying how their rules worked according to them. Didn’t say I wanted a hand out. I voted for Trump for Christ’s sake.

Many players were unhappy with what they got and it doesn't seem like they ever got an explanation. If this were an isolated incident, I would agree that blowing up over that is an overreaction. However, this is a pattern of attitude that has gone on for years with little reason to think it will improve.

I invite you to research my articles and investigations on WSOP.com. I can't imagine you would think anything was an overreaction once you do.

Day 3 for me too. Still no greyed out background all black. Thanks for the info Ernie... - Did you close the client? I know you are on Windows and I am on Mac - that could be the difference. Also, I am wondering if some other update to some other software may have changed something.

For those still having an issue - windows or mac and if mac what O/S?

Meanwhile I can play on iPad and have also set up an account on Betonline while I wait.

I cannot speak for Windows, but I found a chat person who was able to find the solution on a Mac. Here is what you do:

1. Go to Folder ~/Library/Application Support
2. Open folder "ignitioncasino-eu-poker"
3. Delete all files EXCEPT for "user-settings.json". Do NOT delete this file.

Open the client and you can log in.

Have fun and "see" your anonymous faces at the tables.

Starting some time yesterday, I've been unable to log in to Bovada. I hit the Sign In button and it just spins. I know I'm connected because I'm not getting any errors and the ads fill in (like for the $750k+ GTD coming up). It never errors out, it just sits there and spins. I tried completely uninstalling the software and then reinstalling it, still exactly the same. Anyone have any ideas? I'm on Windows 10. Was logged in fine and playing just a couple days ago. I can still log into the sports/casino pages just fine via browser.

Ok, I just did a deep search around older threads, found some advice to:

1) Uninstall the Bovada program.
2) Delete all the Bovada related stuff under Users\...\Appdata\Roaming
3) Restart my PC.
4) Reinstall the Bovada program clean.

And that worked, I'm in fine. Realized after that just deleting the program obviously wasn't deleting everything because my username/password were still defaulted in after I reinstalled.

So it's some sort of cache problem - not sure what exactly but I did notice that my cached stuff looked like it started going to a different folder under Roaming on 12/22. Something in that probably went sideways.

Thank you for sharing this solution. You are a saint! This solution worked for me.

You Windows 10 users that still can't log in, the path is C:\Users\...\AppData\Roaming\ignitioncasino-eu-poker.

AppData is a hidden file so you may need to copy and paste the path into an Explorer window. Be sure to replace the ... with whatever account you log into your Windows PC. It will be one of the folders in C:\Users.

I would add in an additional precautionary step between 2 and 3. Copy the entire folder named ignitioncasino-eu-poker with all its contents to your desktop before making any deletions.

In step 3, be sure to delete all the folders as well, leaving only user-settings.json. They will be recreated when Ignition starts up.

That could be, but your conclusion was silly. And that's being charitable.

This allowed me to login, but none of the tables are appearing under any category. I am beyond annoyed.

Can not log into ignition since updating software. I'm in California, is this just a local problem or has ignition been down for everyone ?

This happened to me months ago, tables would load to 99% and I wasn't able to play on my MAC. Windows worked ok. This issue resolved on its own after at least a month-also after a software update.

Recently others have complained about not being able to log in since the update but appears to be a sporadic problem effecting people here and there.

Try reinstalling the software and do everything on your end. Ignition support will be pretty much useless "everything is ok on our end" etc. Also try a different machine.

Not sure if this is a problem for anyone else, but I'm able to login via the poker client but am unable to login via their website as I wanted to place some sports bets. Not sure if this issue is related to everything else that's happening.

EDIT: Apparently, if I don't click on "remember me" it'll let me login on the sportsbook. Bovada and their crappy software.

I've been down too. Super slow login, then tables don't load. After playin here for almost 1.5 yrs, I can't believe they can't fix this software.

And I just had the worst downswing, losing almost half my roll.
