question about making pokerstars account

I have a friend who wanted me to ask this for him. he made a pokerstars account and was drunk or something and ended up banning himself for 6 months. he never submitted his ID or banking information to confirm the account, but the information he entered was legit information.
If he makes a new account and properly submits his ID and everything, should he be ok? should he change the information on the previous self-banned account? can this work out? thanks

tell your ''friend'' that he will need to wait the 6 months, cant make another account

Could it work out? Sure. Will it? Who knows. But "he'll" forever have to worry that today is the day that they figure it out and ban him, possibly confiscating his funds. Seems like a dumb idea to me.
