Spam of any kind is not permitted throughout TwoPlusTwo.

In case anyone's not clear on this, PMing someone with your affiliate/agent deals is every bit as unacceptable as posting them is - and PPPoker affiliates are the current champs when it comes to spamming our forums.

I've been playing pppoker on and off for a year and I absolutely give up.

It seems as if you aren't in the right seat you are screwed, there is 0% chance of you winning. The fact that the majority of the tables are 6 handed yet somehow 2-3 people smoke the flop or catch a piece of the flop 80% of the time is wild. I dont know why I waste on this damn app

I've heard of some affiliates/agents guaranteeing player funds if the club/union goes down. Does anyone have any thoughts or experience of this being true at all? Is it reasonable to ask that your affiliate to guarantee funds? Would some kind of escrow be the only way? Or is is internet reputation and some history enough for everyone?

How about, what can a player do to increase his or her chance of not being screwed over?

Agents guaranteeing funds is worth less than owners guaranteeing funds. You think the guy who gets a small percentage of a few people's rake has more cash on hand than the people getting a large percentage of everyone's rake? I'd be more weary of people who make those claims than people who don't make those claims, honestly, unless they have a verified third party escrow that holds an excess of all player's funds at all times (because you don't get stolen from when you lose, you get stolen from when you win because the other people can't pay your wins so they just take off with everything).

Internet reputation is worth nothing, history is worth nothing (because everyone is 'clean' until the first time they steal). Deal with people that have as much as possible to lose and assume that there is a decent chance that you'll have someone take off with your money.

I would disagree with everything that was said in this post. Strongly

Was playing on my club few hours ago, but when i left the table the money i was sitting with was not added to my balance.Contacted club owner, but could not find out what the issue was.
Does anybody know , if there are software problems, which causes the money you left with , when leaving the table, is not added to the balance?

Club owner can go through table logs and check if they actually wanted to help. I'd be checking your trade record firstly if it wasn't obvious. I've never heard of it being software related though normally funds have been claimed back by agent/owners by accident.

If that table is still open you can actually go through the hand replays yourself. Or if you pay for a black card+ can see hand histories also.

Play on long running established clubs rather than any of the smaller clubs to start to avoid being screwed over would be my advice.

I think if you're going to go through an agent I doubt any of the bigger agents would guarantee all of their players funds. Some have hundreds of players under them so it isn't really possible/feasible to do so. I'd be extremely skeptical of an agent claiming he would. Rather an honest/transparent agent than one making bold claims.

It is however reasonable to expect/ask the club to guarantee funds as most would if you contacted them. Most long running clubs would have excess funds in case something happened. I have had funds in the past on a club that guaranteed funds and then when they shut down paid out players.

Hope that helps.

i had big affils guarantee my money. If they thought the club was a little bit sketchy they would pull funds from my account basically just lowering the variance if the club went under.

There is one club that I am playing on now where basically the owner of the club just donks the players deposits back on the PLO 5/10 tables lol.

hello guys i have 2 questions
1)do you know if when someone run it twice or 3 times , you pay an extra fee (rake) in that hand ? or not

2)if the club have a jackpot , every hand that is raked takes $1 extra for jackpot but that $1 extra gets raked too so its not the full $1 added to the jackpot am i correct?

Can someone give me some cliffs:
- How many cash game tables can you play simultaneously? Is it per limit or total?
- Why is there no Zoom (fastforward) action at all?
- Does PT4 working? Can I track my hands?
- Can I use a hud?

Thanks!

Three, but you will need three separate accounts.

Clubs don't have the population for it.

You need to buy a converter. There is one for HM2 I'm not sure whether or not it works with PT4 but I think it does. U can get a free week trial, it is from ace poker solutions.

1. No extra rake for running it multiple times.

2. I believe it is not raked so full $1 added to jackpot.

They pull funds from your account as in claim chips back from your player account or they withdraw money on your behalf?

I've found that the fishiest players are often the club owners themselves with too many chips in their accounts can be dangerous for sure haha

Yeah, this would be nice. Having agent that was "in the know" if anything shady went down or was going down.

I think it depends. That's why I am sort of hesitant because as the $$$ goes higher, the chance seems riskier, obv for both parties involved. Maybe if $XXX was lost it could be refunded without too much concern, what about $X,XXX? What if you have $XX,XXX on a site? Now multiply this by 10 players under the agent.

In regards to reputation, it counts for a lot, at least to me. And for them, you know it affects how they will be able to make money in the future. Look at NY Poker King. It looks like the internet has a short memory. I guess we'll also see what happens to Stixx from Mountain Poker. Mountain poker was the first pppoker club I was exposed to, so I am more cautious now.

Club promotion of any kind is banned on 2+2. Search on other social forums like Reddit or Facebook and you should be able to find some.

Aside from getting owned by a club owner I think another issue is agents calculating rakeback, since trackers for PPoker are pretty expensive (lowest i've seen is 60 a month). Unless you are on top of everything you can get skimmed a bit unless you trust your agent. I assume Silver or Black VIP cards don't calculate rake paid in correct?

Anybody got an AHK script for the windows version? Just looking for something simple, like pushing buttons at set coordinates within the window, and possibly moving the window.
But just cant make it work, like ahk wont recognize the client as an active window..

I've been playing on PPP recently and had a couple of questions. How does the system work with running it more than once? Is it the player that's not all in that gets the option first? I've also noticed sometimes two players will get it in on the flop, it puts the turn card out first and then gives the option. Anyone know why this is?

Has anyone played on the Pocket Poker Room app? Looks like it's not as simple of an app as PPP, but it has more options and game types than PPPoker, mainly with hi/lo games. I'm surprised PPP doesn't offer hi/lo. Seems like it would be good for the club owners, rake-wise. People busting less often and playing more pots and bigger pots. I'm trying to figure out the ins-and-outs to run a club on Pocket Poker. If anyone has any experience with the app I'd appreciate any info or suggestions. Thanks.

Actually had that happen for the first time in PLO yesterday and I have around 5k hands played so far where the option wasn't given on the flop but there was on the turn to run it more than once so I am not sure exactly what the critera is. I would like to see some split pot games as well but I can't seen people playing them, everyone in the clubs/unions I am in just gravitate towards NL/PLO(5) and OFC, even shortdeck doesn't run in the unions I am on which is odd. Biggest thing with the software i'd like to see is allow for multitabling on the same account, it is annoying having to ask an agent to split your balance between multiple accounts all the time and move money around between accounts since most union tournaments have sweet overlays on MTT's where you want to play during cash. Other than that the software does a simple yet good job...better than Ignition lol
