A few weeks ago, I decided to deposit 600aud into my already existing Ignition account to play some Mircro/Small Stakes Cash games. The account had been opened about a year prior, and I had played ~30-50 hours in that initial stage with no issues.

My second deposit went through with no problem, and I played about 100 hands with no issues, then log out. The next day, I receive an email from Ignition Support - letting me know that my account had been terminated and that I was barred from play, with no statement on the $600 worth of funds that were still in the account.

The Email from Ignition stated:
“After a full review of the activity in your account, the decision was made to terminate our business relationship with you and discontinue services and products offered. As such, your account will need to remain disabled. We ask that you refrain from opening any further accounts. Discovery of any accounts opened by you or for you will result in immediate termination of your account and us seizing all funds. This decision was made after careful consideration of all the facts and we judge this decision to be final. Regards, Ignition Casino Security”

I have contacted support on multiple occasions - initially (I wasn’t too worried as I had nothing to hide), I asked why my account was banned, how long the investigation into my account would last, and what would happen to the funds in said account. They replied that they would call me in the next two days to sort out all problems.

After roughly 5 days passed (and getting slightly more frustrated and worried), I tried contacting them again, and got the response that my account was under investigation and, again, they would contact me within a few days - however they were somewhat backlogged with support.

I have now been in limbo for a few weeks, and whilst I initially was having doubts as to whether or not I’d get to play, I’m now unsure if I’ll even get my money back at all.

Has anybody had any similar experiences or advice for which they can help me with?

well, you can get your bank to reverse the 600 AUD so you can get those back unless they reopen your account.
But it's pretty strange that you could play and then suddenly get that e-mail....

Yep, I guess that is an option, although it has been a few weeks, not sure if that is too long or not

Do you use VPN's or anything like that? My biggest fear is forgetting to turn mine off and suddenly Ignition thinks I'm playing from the Philippines one afternoon and then 2 hours later I'm back in the states triggering fraud/account sharing detection.

I've tried the live chat on the website a couple of times MangoBall, the first time saying they'll schedule a call back for me (which never came). The second time them quoting the email sent that they 'will no longer be doing business with me', still no explanation.

No I do not use any VPNs Javi so I don't think that could be it. Although I did start using my desktop computer instead of my laptop. That is the only difference this time around, but I can't imagine that has any significance
