PokerStars won't release my balance/refuses to communicate [Resolved] PokerStars won't release my balance/refuses to communicate [Resolved]

Hello,

Almost a week ago I have requested a withdrawal of my account balance from PokerStars. They've emailed me back and said it can take up to 72 hours to complete the withdrawal process.

After the 72 hours period has passed, I have emailed them and asked for an update. They said that my email has been forwarded to a supervisor. I have heard nothing from them since nor have I received the funds. They have stopped replying to my emails.

How concerned should I be about the fact that this company that holds my money refuses to communicate with me?

Well did you cheat? Binked big and now stars noticed you have multiple accounts. Details might help. Amaya support sucks these days allso.

No cheating. I have only played on my Stars account for a month or so and that was one year ago. My country was then excluded and I lost my Real Money playing privileges. I have not attempted to withdraw my balance since then because I am planning to relocate to an allowed country (for non-poker related reasons) in the near future and was going to resume playing there. However, given the direction their company has taken in the last year, I no longer wish to play there, hence the withdrawal request.

I did email Stars support a year ago and asked if it's alright if I keep my balance there until I can prove residence in an allowed country and they said it was not a problem at all.
I have also asked them in my latest email if there are any issues with the withdrawal request that I can assist them in resolving (provide documents, answer any questions they might have, etc.). I have not received a reply.

All you can do is wait. The support is a joke these day. Where are / were you located? Assumed you are a finn?

This is actually quite funny. Hope everything works yout for you. Didn't Israel pull the plug without any warnings?

This is the email we got from Stars last year:

Quote:
Our management team regularly review our operations market-by-market to assess commercial opportunities and business risks for our brands. Following a recent review, we regret to inform you that we have decided to stop offering real money games to players who are physically located in - or have a registered address in - Israel from June 27, 2016. We apologize for this inconvenience and hope you’ve enjoyed your experience - we invite you to continue playing with your existing account on our play money site here.

Player balances remain safe and secure, and players are able to withdraw their real money balances at their convenience.
There has not been a change in our legisation in regards to online poker, so only Stars knows why they decided to pull the plug on us when they did.

I wonder, its been a year and you have not relocated yet. Now you want to withdraw but still not relocated yet. So why have you left your money on stars for more than a year knowing you can`t play from Israel anyway?

Re-location is still in progress but is taking slightly longer than I thought it would. I was planning to keep my balance on there and resume playing on Stars when I can.

As mentioned, I decided to withdraw my balance now because I no longer wish to play on their site.

See e-mail exchange with Stars from June 2016, where I've originally discussed this with them:

Quote:
Dear Pokerstars Support,

Since you will no longer be offering real money games to Israeli players as of next Monday, I am unable to continue playing them on your site. However, I will be re-locating to *removed* in the future and would like to resume playing poker on your site once my real money playing privileges are restored (I will provide the required documents for the verification process).

Due to these circumstances, I would like to inquire about the time frame I have for withdrawing my account balance. Currently, I plan to leave the funds in my Pokerstars account until I am able to play for real money again.

What will happen to my account balance if I do not withdraw it and the account remains inactive for a period of one year?

Thank you for your email.

If you leave funds on your Stars Account, they will still remain until you log in and Play again.

If you decide that you do want to cash out your funds, then log in to your Stars Account and visit the Cashier.

If you want your cashout to include the cash value of any T-Money or Tournament Tickets you may have had in your account, please wait until 27 June 2016 when those balances will be converted automatically upon entering the Cashier in the Main Lobby.

Depending on your past deposits, you will be offered up to three different cashout options:

1. VISA: Cashouts will be sent for processing within 72 hours. Please allow up to 10 business days for the funds to appear in your bank account.

2. WebMoney: Cashouts will be sent for processing within 72 hours. Once processed, the funds will be immediately available in your WebMoney account balance.

NOTE: Visa and WebMoney cashout options will only be available if you have used those payment methods to deposit in the last twelve months.

3. Wire Transfers: Cashouts will be sent for processing within 72 hours. Please allow 3-5 business days for funds to be credited to your designated bank account.

If you have not deposited using VISA/ WebMoney within the last 12 months, you will need to do so before 27 June 2016. Note that if you do deposit with WebMoney you will need to wait 48 hours from your last deposit before you will be able to withdraw your funds.

Once you submit your cashout request, an email notification will be sent to your registered email address confirming each transaction made within your Stars Account. Always refer to your confirmation email after you've made a cashout to confirm how your funds will be processed. Please note that due to the expected high volume of cashout requests, we anticipate a slight delay in processing and delivery of your funds. Rest assured that your funds are safe and we will process your request as soon as possible.

Regards,

Update: I received an email from Stars apologizing that it has taken more than the promised 72 hours to process the withdrawal (It has been one week).

No money or explanation for the delay yet.
