VIP options notwithstanding, we should not have the graphic overlap - so it has been reported as a bug to the team. Thanks for letting us know about it, and thanks, OditeRussia, for posting the Settings tip.

As far as I can tell, all the desktop themes have the same aspect ratio (roughly 8x6) which you can manually resize from full screen to 495x365 (including window frame).

I downloaded each theme and applied them to a table I had open, one at a time, and the table's window frame did not change. If I grab a vertical edge and drag it to change the width, the height adjusts to keep the same ratio.

Not sure if this has been reported earlier, and not sure if this happens with other themes

I've been trying different layouts recently and noticed the text on the bet buttons at certain table sizes is slightly cut off at the edges (just before a jump to the next font size). Not a big deal (can just resize the tables by a fraction to fix it) but it doesn't look great.

In the above sample one of the two players has a note with a black colour. After having taken the picture it seems a little obvious to me which one, but when playing they no longer stand out at first glance. I remember the default colour being a little more grey and it worked out nicely.

As mentioned before, no changes to 3rd party apps, hardware, or settings.

I am using the "Black" theme. I modified the colour of the buttons on the table (bet, fold, etc...) but that was it. How old is the "Black" theme vs the "Old Black" theme? I only ask that because I started using this theme at least a couple of years ago and am surprised it is not the "Old Black" theme.

If you go into "edit player note labels", select the note category that is black, click edit, click the black box - another window will open

here if you click "define a custom colour", you can go into great detail as to the hue, saturation and luminosity of your colour.

Edit some of these figures and you might be able to get your "old black" rather than the black it is currently displaying

Thanks Asjb. I know I can change the colour of the note, and plan on doing it as soon as I feel like not being lazy. I was just wondering if the colour of the player rings changed recently, or if I'm going crazy. I know it's probably the latter

I've been unable to turn up anything on our end to indicate we made any recent changes to the colors of the player pods in any of our table themes. I won't suggest that you're going crazy, but I'm at a loss to explain it.

I think I need to go back in time and have a talk with past me. Thanks for looking into it. I'll get around to changing those at some point.

Sorry if this has been asked but I've been away for a while and just got back. Can someone point me to a link with all the banned programs that are no longer compliant with Pokerstars TOS? I just found out today that TableNinja no longer is compliant and it's quite annoying as I multitable quite a bit. I'm playing on a gamepad on Stars so having hotkeys is very handy to me. I just want to read up on what's acceptable and what's not because I'll be using hotkeys quite a bit so if someone can point me to the right direction that would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Thank you. So after a quick reading I do applaud the changes but there's a lot of them and can be confusing especially with what HEM2 can show and not show. I'm wondering if the new HEM2 update would address all the the changes because it appears Notecaddy would not meet the TOS requirements but it's still there. Is there a thread on 2+2 on this topic? I have a lot of reading up to do, thanks.

Anyone else get email verfication failed message every time when logging into the client? Mailed support and provided screenshot and they confirmed my email was valid. This is now atleast 2 months ago, and they still havent fixed it. Its silly how its going downhill after it was sold.

This and imho add a option in the settings where you can untab which live satellites you don't want to hear a warning. Just sort them by targets and I don't think it will be that much games, will it?

Pokerstars: the new spin and go multipliers change, the poker community doesnt like the new changes. With this new update, regs will quit playing them.

Has anyone been able to map hotkeys on a gamepad with the pokerstars settings in the client? Works on my mouse fine but not on my gamepad.

It would be good if the time to next blind increases was shown more accurately. In the absence of a clock every fifteen seconds would do.

Find Tournament – ‘Enter’ to submit

In the Tools – Find A Tournament function, you no longer have to click the Submit button to initiate the search action. You can now hit the <Enter> key instead.

Custom Themes

Some players who use custom table themes reported that their custom themes were being removed on client restart, and they would have to re-establish them manually each time. This issue has been resolved, so custom themes should be preserved after restarting the client.

Scroll-Wheel Adjusting the Bet

Some players reported that the mouse scroll-wheel was not adjusting the bet amount when it was their turn to act, unless the cursor was directly over the bet box. As long as the table is in focus, the mouse wheel should adjust the bet no matter where on the screen the cursor is position. This has been corrected.

Using Cntl+S should not bring up lobby

The hotkey ‘Cntl+S’ is a shortcut for ‘Seat me at a similar table’. When playing Sit & Go games, it will allow you to register for another SNG, and the confirmation message should appear over the table, not the lobby. Instead, the action was bringing up the games lobby with the confirmation message in front of it, like this:



This has been corrected.

FPP Buy-In Filters for PS6 Tabs

When the All Games lobby controls are set to the old PS6 style tabs, the FPP buy-in filters were not working correctly in all cases. This has been corrected.

A few players reported that the hand histories emailed to them were in their ‘Play In’ language rather than the language they selected in the Playing History settings here:

Phantom Challenges in UK Client

Several UK players reported that they were still seeing Challenge nudges in the lobby even though there were no challenges currently available for them:



This was similar to an earlier phantom challenge bug that we had resolved for .COM and other sites several builds back, but a slightly different cause. It has been resolved for UK now, too.

Tournament Name Displayed in T-Lobby

Tournaments with longer names would sometimes not display the full name in the Tournament lobby even though there was enough space in the header:

Stack Icon in Draw Games

A player on the IT license reported that the stack icon in some Draw games on was shown in front of the cards, obscuring the card ranks. This has been corrected.

Home Games – Desktop Only

Our ‘Home Games’ feature has always been officially supported in our desktop software only, it was never designed to run on mobile devices. However, some players realized that if they set up and registered for the club games on their desktop, then if they were logged into their mobile device when the tournament started, they would be able to sit and play.

Unfortunately, in some cases this caused the mobile app to crash. Because the work to fully support Home Games on mobile is so significant, the team decided to prevent club games from being played on mobile, thus preventing the app crashes. This means that, going forward, all club games have to be played on desktop / laptop machines. We are sorry for the inconvenience to our club players.

This seems strange to me. Are we soon going to be able to filter FPP games by buy-in in the favourites section of the client?

What is the reasoning for having 2 different buy-in currencies (FPP and Cash) using the same text boxes for setting filters?

I would like to create a favourite filter for FPP satellites with a buy-in value of over 900. This is currently impossible, right?

What does the H mean in table view?
