[PokerStars] Software Improvement Thread - Page 508 - PokerStars: General discussion -- Two Plus Two Poker Forums

Since the last Stars update I get a pop up titled "My news" when I login. It's always a blank page? Anybody else got this problem?

Am I in the right thread?

I'm still on 4.982 but getting the same blank popup every now and then as well. Sometimes I get 2 popups overlaying each other, with the blank one on top and the original one (10th anniv. promo) underneath.

I think perhaps a volley of bombs originating from the Isle of Man raining down on Dublin may be more appropriate.

Being able to see how many VPP's and stuff you've made live instead of after you leave the table in cashgame.

Pokerstars will announce 10 promotions for Pokerstars 10th anniversary. 1,2 and 3 is sunday million, pca 100 packages and world record attempt. The promotion number 4 will be huge if you see how big is the avaliable picture for this...

if they are announcing rush type game wouldn't that mean switching over to contributed rake method from dealt (which is current rake method used at PS) @ next year ?

in pokerstars.BE we do not haf fpp bonus anymore (only milestone and stellar) I know it"s alegal issue but we can already buy ticket for some tournament. I know that it will not compensate money in cash but can you please let us buy tournament ticket for any tournament buy in we want. I would like to buy a ticket for a 5$ tournament or a 55$ not only for "the big" and sunday tourney. We also may expend this to sng and HU

Are we any closer to resolving the issue where tables take focus at random and steal focus from a table that needs a decision

It tilts the crap out of me and I been waiting for a solution since I rejoined stars?

We have released on TestPokerStars an option to mark the player whose turn it is to act with a spotlight as opposed to the current blinking effect. It would be great if players can provide us feedback on the solution that is on TestPokerStars.

To see it, please start TestPokerStars and go to "Options" > "Table Display Options" > "Mark active player with spotlight (Beta)". Then please open a No Limit Hold'em 9-max Play Money table and make sure you are using the default Black theme. It won't work on other tables/themes. Here is a screenshot:

Fine for me as long you keep the old standard blinking method.
Personally I won't use the spotlight option but don't mind it to be incorporated as optional.
