Just a thing regarding the Turbo Takedown from 12-27-09:

(1) Make timebank shorter for this turbo event or prevent people from stalling some other way, as they already start 300 people still to go 'til money.
(2) Stop tournament clock through hand-for-hand-play. Ridicolous to lose a complete blindlevel due to some dumb stallers at _one_ tables who don't understand the concept of hand-for-hand.
(3) Shorten timebank in general and fill it up more frequently instead.

I went into the "bubble" (means 300 still to go) with ~20 big blinds and found myself having 6 bigblinds left ITM with only 4 hands played. At this time, we were 3 blind levels ahead.

US-5.5vpp = EUR 8

Someone's going to get screwed when the exchange rates move.

Also, once again, fix the SNG filter and/or allows us to choose favorite SNGs like FTP does.

Since PS has to have someone look at every avatar before it's approved for use, categorize them and let users block by category (pets, babies, Ivey, etc.)

Stupid ugly babies making me put down my xbox controller to grab the mouse and block image 15 times an hour ... enough already!

... and speaking of ugly baby avatars, when I block image, make it block the image on ALL open tables. Just because some ugly baby overstepped my set shouldn't mean I have to block, unblock, reblock on each table to get rid of their stupid rat picture.

It looks like the SNG Refresh won't take effect on Jan 1st as we originally planned. I don't know exactly when it will be - but we do expect to have a new tournament type or two on PokerStars in Q1 2010, so maybe around the same time as that.

VPP will go to 5.5x (for US Dollar SNGs) and 8x (for Euro SNGs) on Jan 1st which will mean that most SNGs will see an VPP boost.

I will do my best to make any further changes public before they take effect, but I doubt there will be anything that would have a major effect on people's plans for 2010.

I have raised this viewpoint with upper management on a number of occasions. Right now I am not aware of any plans to change the minimum buy-in in PokerStars ring games.

We do already have 50BB-Min games for those who particularly wish to avoid short-stackers.

Heads-Up tables will see an up to 10% increase in VPP in 2010 as the system moves from 5X to 5.5X.

There are no definite plans to remove any particular SNG type at present.

Please this!!! Although I could have sworn I played a set w/o HEM HUD and didn't see the problem. So I thought it was a HEM problem. Do you have HEM HUD running?

Sigh at no new SNGs. PS let me down

I would like to see a 1 second delay incorporated into the pretermined "Check", "Check/Fold", and "Fold to any bet" options, if "CHECK" is the action that will take place. My reasoning is to protect other players that may be in the hand. The auto-check action once the action is on a particular player is instantaneous, and an observant player in the hand will note that when the instant check happens, odds are they are either in a "check/fold" or "fold to any bet" option. If the software would delay 1 second, then the check would look like it was done manually.

Just a thought.

Ok one form of sng is super turbo for sure but the question will be 9men and/or 6man? I doubt about another form of sng except maybe 360players turbos but those will have small impact for all of us....

I haven't made my way through the 406 pages of this thread, so I don't know if these things have been mentioned before:

-Custom tables - whose to say that I don't want to set up a 5 Card Draw/Badugi/PLO8 table? Also, it'd be cool to be able to create private tables, so a group of friends could get together and play.

-Straddling/3 blind tables - Would loosen up the Hold'em action.

-Bounty tournaments - Like on several other sites, tourneys where half the buy-in goes to the prize pool and the other half goes to a personal bounty.

-Finally, I want to be instantly credited with my money back every time I lose set under set. Just saying.
