In the .com client there are four rows for money in the cashier. At the top is Grand Total, below is USD, below that is Available, and below that is In Play. Why does the grand total not show the actual grand total (USD), but the grand total minus what is in play? Seems like a silly mistake for the world's largest online poker room.

I've just cashed out. I've been playing on stars since so many years I can't believe it...

No rakeback and now no more than 4 tables ? But you will get plenty of "spin & go" rewarding the fish randomly...

I will now play on partypoker even if the soft is inferior. I just hope they will update it soon

I don´t think it´s smart to play more than 6 anyway. Maybe 8 if you´re quick. A lot of good players post how they are much better playing less tables, esp without any reward for volume/rakeback. But, as a FR player, I´m forced to say this 4 tables cap will just kill the games. Maybe tables will be softer, who knows, but I don´t want to grind 500-1000 hands max per day, too few to get to the long run in a reasonable time frame.

Would love to move to party, but not being able to track my play in hem/pt is a big no. I don´t need/want a hud, but I need to be able to track and study my game. Maybe 888 or bodog etc.

A fish is a fish. When he will lose he will stop playing. It doesn't matter if you remove the regs. The fish will lose and quit anyway.

The ridiculous part of the move is the # of tables. 6 would achieve the same thing imo and would be much more reasonable. Even if regs lose their discipline and start to open more hands, even with this all in cashout pos, they won´t get the same amount of rake, so you guys can expect a rake increase coming.

For balance, I semi-recently switched to 4-tabling (was playing 20 in my hey day), and am finding poker not only more beatable (winrate increased markedly), but more enjoyable too.

Can see why this ****s over the proper cash game grinders, but I do agree with Stars' sentiment that 24-tabling is bad for the ecosystem.

I play on a site with a 4 table max and am beating the the game (all levels 25nl and lower full ring) for over 20bb/100. And I just got back into online poker in May from a roughly 10 year hiatus.

So I don't think it's impossible to make money.

That being said I feel this is a ploy to move people to zone poker (or what ever they call their speed poker). Given its a higher rake structure and there is no table cap on it.

Think that's a big stretch in this particular instance. Limited number of tables will certainly decrease a bunch of people's hourly rate - but it doesn't change that fact that poker is fundamentally a beatable game.

As a tip what I am doing now is mixing regular tables from PS.es so this way you can play 8 tables max.
