Just received an offer for an stars casino bonus. It was presented like the Casino bonus was an software error. A smallish pop up popped up with an accept and decline button(green and red), and after I pressed decline it asks"are you sure", the bonus was 15$ instant(after earning 16 coins).

Hopefully this nonsense doesn't become a standard thing

Hi Keith, I finally had the time to sit down and explain my issue, first off, here are my settings in the Lobby "Gameplay / Multitabling" so when I register to a tournament(from the main lobby) there are no popups and I'm happy. :





Now I'm playing Hyper 6-Max SNGs, 4 tables, and I have the Main Lobby minimized because the tables are taking up most of the desktop and I don't want to see the lobby. I bust in 1 SNG and I get a small dialog popup right at the table asking me if I want to register again to another SNG of the same type or if I just want to close the table and not reregister. I want to play another SNG so I click "Register". I am still happy.





Now, when I click register, the Main Lobby pops up and a small dialog box confirming my registration pops up as well. This obscures some of the SNG tables I'm playing. My happiness has evaporated. I am depressed.





This shouldn't be happening because I have "Allow registration(s) without showing Buy-In dialog" selected in the settings. I could understand if only the small dialog box popped up but the Main Lobby popping up is just an annoyance. The 6-handed Hyper SNGs are a very fast paced game and when playing a lot of tables the Lobby popping up every time I register is irritating.


Is it possible to adjust the software so that:

a. The Main Lobby doesn't pop up when I reregister to a SNG?

b. A small dialog box pops up in the same place where I just busted the SNG, confirming my registration? Maybe it could be made to automatically close after 3 seconds?

OR

c. Just have no popups at all when reregistering from a busted table?


This is not a huge deal, it is more of an annoyance that gets more and more annoying the more tables I'm playing...having to constantly acknowledge the dialog box and minimize the main lobby interrupts the game flow and slows things down a bit. It would be great if we had the ability to turn off these popups the same as all the other popups we can disable. Thanks Keith.

This was very well explained! :- As a temp solution until Keith & Co. fixes this have you considered purchasing a small cheapo monitor [or 2nd laptop perhaps] & making it part of one virtual desktop? Then you can slide the lobby off to the smaller screen [One can make two different sized screens one desktop]

Thanks, but I am using multi monitors. I used only 1 monitor so I could show the problem. I usually have a 2nd monitor with a video or TV show playing and even then the Lobby pops up over anything else I have on the 2nd monitor.

But when I travel with my laptop I have only 1 screen and it does get annoying.

Sorry for not reading all the discussions of last couple of months, but any clue where (hyper) heads up tourneys are gone? When I select Tourney > All, with no filters selected, I can't find any HU tourney anymore, like the hourly $10,50 or the $22 around 8.45pm CET.

I haven't been around for a couple of months, have they all been cancelled in the meantime?

Ever since wednesday's update client has been very buggy with a lot of freezing of tables and lobbies. Never had such problems ever before.

The tournament lobby for the Mini Milly is not updating.

The current version of pokerstars.bg is ****ing wank, almost everyone i know is having some sort of problems... And for days nothing new is released and nothing is done to get the situation better, after countless of mails to the "experts" from the support, by me included. Just wtf is going on, i am just shocked by the negligence, is this really pokerstars? Did the very competent amaya management employ some monkeys to take care of the software in order to compensate that hey can't make the rake 20%?

Was playing on Pokerstars when "The Deal" Full Tilt shootout freeroll popped up, software freaked out and repeatedly spammed an error saying I couldn't play that game on Pokerstars and to contact support. Either remove the message or stop it popping up on Stars! Had to close down all my tables just to deal with it.

when I open the Stars client it just pops up for like 1 sec and then it closes itself again. Anyone else having this problem?

with all the new software tweaks on the table KO etc stars should add the animation of the bubble bursting like 888 does

Exactly the same thing here. Worked fine two days ago. I tried uninstalling it but still doesnt work

Some of my tables keep freezing while playing. Have to close client and reopen or it won't fix the issue and then later it happens again. NOT GONNA PLAY UNTIL THIS IS FIXED!!!

I uninstalled it and installed it in a different directoy and now it works again.
