Is anyone else getting this error? Just started today, was playing last night perfectly fine.

Everytime I hit upgrade it just relaunches Stars and brings me back to this error.

In Canada, if that matters.

At the moment there is no way to get this information through the software, but you can use the Help > Contact Support form to ask Support for this information.

I've seen this before but can't remember the cause - may be a corrupted file, might be something to do with running your computer as Admin or not. Please contact Support - they should be able to help you resolve it.

check your user.ini file in ...\Users\...\AppData\Local\PokerStars
if it is corrupted.Mine is 37kB,corrupted is much less (3 I think).
Last two days this file keeps corrupting without any reason,but I have a backup of it.
If yours is broken-try restoring previous version or replace with a backup if you have.

I got Stars working again... when I was getting that message I was trying to play on public wifi at a mall. When I tried to go to stars site I got a message saying the site was blocked because it was gambling. Wifi must have been set up to block stars client as well and that was the error it showed?

The weird part was when I was getting that error the stars client that I could see behind it was different.. it had Poker, Casino, and Vegas buttons at the top and instead of Star Coins it was showing me my old vpp targets again.

Anyways, its working now at home. Thanks for the help

Any update? Bug still here, costing me money and focus. Will it be removed with next client update? Can I get refund for every affected table? These are 6x or higher multiplier games, so only buy-in back isn't an option.

I mean I can't follow how hand went down (have memory issues). I'm not getting full enjoy of playing. Plus my StarsHelper gives me faulty information of bet sizes/odds/action history causing me making mistakes (allowed program in pokerstars) if I don't notice first that chat is broken.

today i recieved mobile notification from your app that there will be freeroll for PSF Dublin at 13:00 BST.

- it was not a freeroll. it was 1 star coin tourney.
- it was not at 13:00BST, but at 17:30BST
- i am in CET, why on earth do you sent me notification in BST?

Tournament breaks start at 55 minutes past the hour and last for 5 minutes but in reality they mostly last longer than 5 minutes especially in big tournaments as the break doesn't start until all current hands of that tournament have been played and if you finish your hand early you can get up to a 7 minute break.

Now the big tournaments normally start on the hour which is when most tournament players are still on a break. In the newly started tournament it's not uncommon to see lots of time banks being depleted as players are still away on a break.

Why not start the break at 50 minutes past the hour. That way, everyone is back from their break and the first hand of new tournaments are not full of timed out players with no time bank left.

And tell me what's even the point in having chests when there's no random element?
Perhaps The Czech client should have the option to autoopen chests as it's literally a waste of time as the chests are always the same?

Hello,

Idk why the last 2 session my "CTRL+F" shortcut for find a player does not work when mouse pointer is focused on a table. I have to go all the way to the main lobby to hit ctrl+f wich is very annoying. I can not right click on a player to click find because i m using hotkeys on right click.

Any ideas?

Does anyone else notice that the Android client uses a lot of data and battery even when not used. I used to have it installed to play the deal every 12 hours but since I uninstalled battery life has been much better.

This is a bug, which we expect to have corrected in an upcoming build cycle, but might not be the next one. Sorry.

Although with Android anything is possible, this isn't something we've seen or received reports about from other players.

Thanks for your comments and suggestion - I shared them with the Tournaments team, and they have taken it under consideration for future big tournaments.
