Yes, this should be resolved in the new client updates that we expect to deploy next week and the week after, depending on your location/license.

the challenges window said the promo would end on mar 29. cardmatch has disappeared from the challenges window since mar 29, but going to the tables it still seems to be active. Keith can we get a confirmation on when this promo ends?

I've asked about it, but it might be Monday before I can respond one way or the other.

I'm railing the 10M$ SM FT and feel the urge to chat, why the f is there no observer chat for this purposes? We got 10k people watching ffs. Something that pops up by the side and is not to be seen by the normal chat

they do that so its not a distraction to the players

A side chat for observers only is actually a pretty cool idea

I personally don't see the point in it. With so many people watching and using a feature like that, the chat would move at a million miles an hr and be unreadable anyway. Legit people wanting to use it, wouldn't be able to keep up and the majority would just spam the crap out of it with rubbish.

Thanks to all for posting - your viewpoints have been shared with the Promo team. However, the Card Match promo has proved really popular, so we have extended it further into April at least. We are likely to suspend or modify it when the PokerStars Makes Millionaires challenges are launched from next week, but we are also considering extending it to Omaha at some point after that (it is already available in Italy for PLO).

Sorry to hear you're having crashes. I've let the team know about your post. Could you please let me know which client version you are using? Go to Help > About PokerStars and look for the 5-digit Build number.

Please also send your log files to Support the next time you have a crash so we can start investigating. Go to Help > Log Files, add a description of the crash events covering what actions precipitated them and how the crash manifests (freeze, close, etc.) and how often/reproducible it is - then click Send Log Files.

Yes, observer chat was removed from the tables so it won't distract players and, yes, a side-chat just for observers is a cool idea and, yes, it has inherent speed/rubbish problems - so you are all right!

The idea has merit and had been discussed internally several years ago and is still kicking around on somebody's back burner. To put safeguards in for blocking racist/sexist crap, spam and other undesirable content would make this a rather large project, so it's unlikely to get any traction for the foreseeable future.

Thanks for confirming that you're on the latest Mac client for .COM. We have not heard of any other players reporting crashes on this build, so Log Files would be most helpful.

For what it's worth, there is a new build coming shortly. Most licenses will deploy this week and .COM will probably be updated next week.

No, there is no option to hide The Deal Jackpot display in the lobby. If you pop open either the Cashier or Account, you can see your VIP info.

could you please alter the cardmatch promo so you have to opt-in for it in the lobby / bonus window and and if you dont opt-in the cardmatch box wont force itself up on every table

also it would be very handy if the cardmatch tab only pops up at tables you are actually sitting at, because a table im railing/watching has no need for a cardmatch tab

i kinda dont believe this promo is that successful to be honest, i know other promos got way more praise and way less glitches. the one where you have to score a 100 points to win a bonus (you got 10 points for a full house, immediate 100 for royal flush etc.) was a perfect bonus and both regulars and recreational players really liked and preferred this one

the vip progress bar is still stuck for me, it keeps saying 100%

i havent read a single positive thing about cardmatch either, never heard a complaint about the previous promotions
