Should we call PokerStars a poker room still if all they focus on is increasing rake paid and not the player experience? They focus on 6 max nlhe because it generates more rake, winrate at least for me is smaller- so i have to play more, pay more rake to make some profit. In full ring you pay less rake, you make more money. Are they just greedy or are they just genuinely not able to survive as a business when they focused more on full ring games and removed this absolutely silly 4 table cap?

They've just made the lobby bigger for utterly no reason. Their IT ppl are simply morons.

And the leader boards going looks like it's killed zoom plo.

It's probably not the IT guys, but whoever is in charge. IT only do what they are told to.

as a very casual player, I think the decision to increase Blue chest requirement to 2000 points is absolutely ridiculous. Majority of Micro players (NL2,NL5, even NL10) will never acquire enough points to open a chest until the points reset and all the rakeback is gone. It is really demotivating for a casual micro player. And without any other incentives to play (no missions, no leaderboards...) it's a very dull place to play

How can they not have fixed and activated card sorting again.

Any idea how to change seats in a tournament after the latest update? It used to be that you right-click the seat you want and choose it. Now, if you right click it gives you this

Note: I don't want to change the default seat, but choose a specific seat for each tournament (visually easier when playing multiple tables).

Also, is it possible to go back to the old tournament list layout? this one sucks

stars support hasnt responded in this thread for years, they mainly do support via discord

I have emailed them regarding this.

I play omaha topscreen seat, omaha hilow downscreen seat, badugi left seat, 8 game right seat etc when I multitable.

The support staff is way more clueless than they used to be. When they finally got my question after tree emails about the seat selection this was their answer:

If you are unable to see a feature that was previously available, then it might mean it was removed.

We often make changes on our software to improve the quality of play.

Not even gonna send the question to their software department. Generic bot answers ftw.

They literally just ignored you. They have made changes to the software regardless of player feedback (claiming it's for the players and for the ecosystem) for years now. They introduced 4 table cap for cash games. Four tables! in online games. Are you kidding me. They introduced zoom, added some stupid graphical engine to make it slower and "look better" and now they are changing the look of the tournament lobby to make it look like a carnival. With all the segretion happening with the "regulation" of online poker there are less players and less tables to play due to table cap and amnt of players. Tournament guarantees are absolute dog s*it now. Their support ignores you most of time or they just start gaslighting you that you're not nice enough to them when they absolutely suck at what they do and your reaction is just a natural response, valuable feedback to them. Wonder how long are they keeping this s*it show going?
