Do the cash tables seem like they've gotten harder in recent days? It kind of seems like the tables have fewer new people, so all that's left are the pros, and the serious recs who play like pros?

Wish the Pyramid prizes were a bit larger, so people would have more incentive to play, now that the days are so long and the weather's so nice.

What time do you get dawn? I think Mr. & Mrs. Squirrel probably stay indoors until it's daylight - my British garden squirrels will not venture out in the dark [as far as I can tell] because cats, foxes & owls get the jump on them in the dark.

Re recs - the Euro 2016 football has moved a few recs across to their TV sets & betting sites - away from poker. BetStars is probably doing very well out of the football - I read it's being promoted in some of the European licenses that I can't see from the UK. I think this might be one of the biggest betting periods in the football cycle & Amaya [& subsidiaries] have worked very hard to be ready. I have this idea that support/development resources may have been diverted in that direction lately...

They've been showing highlights on tv every night, to show how big of an event this is in the rest of the world - a couple of days ago, we got to see that clip of C. Ronaldo toss that microphone into the lake lol ... and then we also got to see the clip of the Iceland goal with the commentator that sounded like he was having some sort of seizure (yaahhhhhh!!!11!!!)

It must be fun to have a national soccer team that gets to play in these big games that take place every couple of years

Every four years: European national teams competing against each other which is what UEFA Euro 2016 [proper name UEFA European Football Championship] is all about. It began in 1960 - that's why BetStars needed to be ready for 2016 or they miss a huge revenue opportunity that doesn't arise again until 2020, 2024 & so on

Every four years: FIFA World Cup between national teams which began in 1930 [didn't run in 1942 or 1946] interleaves with the UEFA competition - the next World Cups are 2018, 2022 & so on

TBH I thought the first one in March was all fine red velvet curtains in the windows but no carpets or furniture in the house.

To enter the freeroll final on March 19th one had one chance to be in the final 9 of a free 90-seat sng. If you finished 10th or lower it's game over. Oh & there was this of course: The four 2016 $1,000,000 freerolls were framed as being to balance out for the removal of rewards to grinders [I think that's correct but could be wrong] - but I thought it unfair that re-depositors got double chances. A nice minimum $20k prize up top for someone, but I actually enjoyed the challenges more. Something quite satisfying about meeting a daily target.

There's a bunch of "Blackjack Challenge" shootouts in the lobby, yet more trying to push players towards casino games. I challenge you to give me your money!

When I click on the info link in the tourney lobby for this my "Challenges" window opens, but this tourney isn't there for me to see. Also these freerolls are marked "Restricted" from my point of view & I suppose one has to have played in the StarsCasino to enter these?

Is it possible that some of the untagged names you are seeing are coming from the other direction? i.e. People who only use the StarsCasino now being introduced to the PokerStars side?

I think you need to unhide casino and opt in to casino marketing to see it (you don't see Sports challenges unless you unhide/opt in so I'd guess it's the same).

Doubtful on your last point. Stars don't advertise Casino, even sites that are heavily casino-focused use Poker/Sports to attract players. Online casinos nowadays aren't really trying to attract whales, they lock fish money in at £20 a time (£700 wagering requirement to get it back [£7000 for blackjack]).

Stars need to start doing promo's like party's 'summer of grind':

This has made me stop playing on stars for now... I don't want to play about 400 hands a day to win 'up' to $5000, that gets boring. Give us a grind like party are doing, with a challenge that actually takes a bit of time to complete but when you do complete it, the prizes are a lot better. Knowing that you can 100% get $1500 for playing 250,000 hands is a huge incentive. Playing a few hands each day to win a random prize which is normally a dollar is a lot less appealing.

These PP promos are killing a healthy poker ecosystem.

Whatever floats Party's boat. At least they're giving significant money back to players, which compensates for the unhealthiness of their ecosystem.
