Yeah, think they need to reduce the number of cards a bit! Previous cardhunt promo took half an hour at most, played for an hour and still got half the board to go. Given that the prizes are small(er?) and PLO rake is much higher it's not that great.

It is nice to see other games getting some attention though.

How has everybody done so far for the Omaha card hunt? I got $5 (lol), but it took no time at all and the quality is pretty low.

I've got a bunch of "The Deal" freeroll tickets (on Full Tilt) but there are only 3 shootouts per week (and another few non-shootouts), can the tickets be exchanged for anything?

If the tickets can't be used/exchanged the structure needs redesigned, the vast majority of tickets will expire before it's possible to use them. In theory each ticket is worth $1-ish but so few freerolls run they're essentially worthless.

But haven't you heard, Tilt will Not, be just a skin ?

They must be saving up their promo budget for some exhilarating all-in shootouts for the Euros!

They really don't care any more. Not even 6 months since they were promising a promotions/marketing blitz... did they think no-one would notice when it didn't happen? Or do they genuinely believe $1/day (occasionally) is awesome?

Promotions have obviously deteriorated a lot since the start. At the start of the year they were actually good but that didn't last very long. They obviously just did it so they could say at the start of the year "We proved a point - the promotions are much better now for everyone" and then just stop caring as soon as they've got their point across. I actually think these last couple of months the promos have been the worst they've been for quite a while. Even the same time last year promos were probably better than this.

What happened to mega bonus? Milestone challenges? Not these silly $1 shootouts. With this as well as the constant rake increases and money-grabbing "promotions" like the Sunday Million spin and go, Pokerstars has now stooped to an all-time low.

Well, not sureprising. The fact that you can feed the people **** and they still keep raking money at the site didn't went unnoticed at Amaya and this is the result. Promotions will only get better if a significant number of people move their play to other sites.

I guess that's why they offered decent promos at the start of the year when there was that whole scandal about the VIP cuts. A lot of people would have been deciding whether or not to leave Stars so that may have encouraged some of them to stick around. And then once they get them hooked back in to the VIP program they start making the promotions worse and less frequent, and increasing the rake even more. Very crafty of them

They're running Cardhunt on the American site, looks like the odds of hitting a decent prize are much better than we got.

Well there are promotions now - just that people are not aware of them! There is currently the DOUBLER promotion running(this is the 2nd week it runs for 4 weeks) where if you deposit X amount(in my case 100$ you get 20$ instantly + another 20$ if you complete a challenge)

My challenge was to earn 150$ in prizes with sng or spin n go. Now it would be a really nice gimmick but guess what.. this week when I deposited 100$ the challenge for the extra 20 was now to earn 450$ through the same games - so yea 3 times more - 3 times more likely that people who are recs will have to play significantly more to earn those prizes thus probably losing much more than 20$ they would later get in the process...

Quite scammy, there was no mention that the challenge would be so different from week to week(harder because you have 7 days to complete which means more playing time)
