I feel like you made a mistake. I know this because my friend started it later and he got to finish later than 00:00 the next day as well. Also, the number of shootout entries for the first set of challenges continues to grow even after 00:00 ET. So for most people, starting late and finishing late actually works. So either you made a mistake, or they did. For them to get it right for tens of thousands of people but then screw it up for the odd one person like you would be quite odd from a software perspective, so I have to wonder if maybe you didn't pay enough attention to your start/stop times or forgot to opt in to one of the challenges. Not trying to put the blame on you here, just suggesting it might be worth you trying to think up ways you could have allowed the situation to occur before firing bullets at the market leader with the best, most reliable software of any poker site. But you can choose what to do and how to treat this; that would just be my advice

You do get 24 hours but you need to press start before the end of the day (ET).

The first challenge each day is the "Silver" challenge, and the second is the "Gold" challenge. The second one will have a higher degree of difficulty and therefore bigger prizes awarded.

When you complete the first challenge you will get a random reward ranging from a seat in a $10K All-in Shootout to a maximum of $10,000 in cash.

didnt realize i needed to opt into the gold promo aswell, as it was counting hands i was playing. pretty lame... did yall have to opt in to both the silver and gold cash chalenge seperately yesterday??

Not for me, I only opted in once and it processed the silver and gold challenge rewards!

I'm 70% sure that I clicked only one button, but then again I wasn't exactly paying attention to the process. Got paid (well, registered ) for silver and gold.

seems odd that i am the only 1 out of thousands who needed to opt into both in order to rec both prizes and have my 24hour clock for promo completion....

Just one button for me mate, would probably speak to stars as that doesn't sound right! By pressing start it should opt you into both!

Cashing in a tourney sounds like it should hopefully cost less in rake than 1000 hands of cash? Guess the big thing is the time crunch, and the available games, for anyone who was hoping to stick to tourneys and not timebombs or + rebuys 2x. Will have to hope to run good, and not bust every single one I try tonight, yikes ...

Definitely only one Start button for both challenges. Ask support for your email to be forwarded to someone higher up; someone that will actually think before sending a generic form reply.

As for today's challenge, I registered for 4 tournaments, and debated for a few minutes about registering late for the Big $4.40. Glad I did, because I just squeaked into the money with 5xBB! Gold challenge: complete (not busted yet, so don't know what prize is).

..and 4-for-4 with shootout tickets.

Made $2 plus a shootout ticket. I too played in the timebomb tournaments. Managed to win $32 from the $1.10 timebombs which was nice


I'm guessing next will be another tourney promo given it's based on the WSOP. If the promo is connected in some way, you have to ask what do you think of when you think WSOP? I think of large field tournaments that have a certain brand or icon to their name that people will recognise. So it could be something to do with the Hot/Big tournament varieties. Silver challenge might be to play 3 of them, with Gold challenge being to cash in one.

Alternatively, Stars could make it less relevant but nonetheless a progressive follow-up from yesterday by switching away from scheduled tournaments and towards the challenges being based on SNGs instead today.

Guess we'll have to wait and see what happens in 90 mins

One thing about this MTT thing for anybody who hasn't done it yet - thought we'd get our prize as soon as we made ITM ... but it looks like we don't get our prize until we bust? What a difference a year makes ... lol!! Lady Gaga's certainly likes to try different things - guess maybe there's bound to be some hits and misses Her Superbowl performance was lovely the other day ...

Must be neat to be able to sing or dance or paint, and entertain and move and inspire people with beautiful and interesting works of art It does seem like there were more 'wow!' moments in other years - did a google search of top Grammy moments, and a lot of lists had a lot of 'unlikely' duets, like Elton John with Eminem, and Mary J. Blige with U2. Pretty neat how they did something outside their usual, and were able to create something different that everybody was able to enjoy?

Wonder why they don't just say that they're adding $65k, and the tourney's got a $100k guarantee? That sounds like a perfectly lovely promo?

Was having a pickle of a time trying to keep track of everything! Then started requesting those 'Playing History Audits' - took me a while figure out how to open the file up, with the password and stuff, but then it wasn't too bad. Guess the file lists all the cash and tourney dollars and now coins?

I remember years back when I used to live in England, one of my favourite school activities was in History class when occasionally we'd go on a field trip to the ancient remains of a historic castle that dated back to Medieval times, and we'd get a tour of the building where a historian would lecture us about what used to go on in the castle. Then our homework would be to do a Medieval timeline that outlines the key "milestone" events that took place regarding battles, rulings, monarchy etc.

So this Pokerstars new "milestone" promo is comparable to this, as it is the most well-known, iconic poker site and one that carries a lot of history and heritage to its brand. Similarly there is a timeline of the historic events that have taken place since the site was born, only this time our "homework" is to complete challenges based on key milestone events that have taken place over the years. Some of these events have achieved worldwide recognition and will be remembered for a long time to come. So I'm glad that Pokerstars has finally allowed players to appreciate how the site has grown over the years, how far it has come and the many things that have been accomplished.

PS: great job stars with the monthly freerolls, i cant wait the end of the month to battle with around 65,535 other players for the first place! $7.5k its a juicy prize but you really gotta throw some extra thousands for those who can make the ITM or at least top1000. thumbs up!
