This challenge was prepared pretty bad. There is no info about the payout structure for the leaderboard. Only that top 30 get paid with a 50k$ pool, but nothing is said about the distribution.

Also there is no info about how to earn points in these all-in shootouts. lol
On top of that this promotion wasnt even announced in the client.

U are right but actually theres info how much points you earn if u click on info tab .Total bingo promo as usual but maybe i will have luck for once in my life.I personally prefer more hard challenge which will lead to a freeroll with about 500-1000 people and prizepool of 10K+ so it actually will be worth something not the usual 0.25c-1$ value which is a lot lesser than the rake u must paid for completing the challenges .Personally they force me to play 10nl and im not a cash player ,lucky enough players there are still bad enough for my skill and i dont need to punt money ,but usually i think i must play nl5 for challenge since i play micro-low stakes mtt which correspondent to nl2-nl5 of cash .

I like leaderboard challenges/promost thats why i would play for it ,but if it was usual get 16 Aces or all the broadway card and get 0.25 -0.50 cents i would skip it since i pay much more for rake.

Youre right, I just found it in the leaderboard section. But it still doesnt make much sense.

For example place 501-1500 should get 5 points each. Ive finished place 1719 today and still got 5 points.

Thanks for providing the info that is lacking in the poker client. The info page clearly says a ticket will be given, and makes no mention of auto-registration.

Could you please comment on the links about Red Dragon Poker below? I ask because there are a lot rumors being passed around especially by Asian poker app agents. And, in turn, some poker players are assuming their deposits are backed or likely backed by PokerStars, game fairness insured by PokerStars, RNG provided by PokerStars, etc, etc. I mean I think the vast majority of poker players are mostly uncertain about this but the longer it goes on, the more it will be accepted as fact.

Regarding your questions.

Yep, PS entered a Chinese poker apps market.
They never officially confirmed that RD is their project but it is. (Links from their site lead to RD site).
Regs/Winning players are not welcome. Agents who bring winning traffic are getting closed (all funds paid though).
Non-Chinese players can still join but apparently, they are going to change the policy.

Prediction - PK Asia, RedDragon will limit access to foreigners to keep games/ecosystem healthy. It's quite rational from the point of business.

Good side - Chinese apps will evolve since PS joining the party. Hopefully better security, anti-collusion departments, harder competition etc.

But regs/foreigners won't be welcome anymore. A fact we all should accept.

Maybe give a golf player a sponsorship deal.
Run a marketing ad in golf games.

A year long or months long MTT competition or series for Canada and other timezone with just 8-10 weekly tournaments to play.

Could do something like tournaments every Mon/Wed/Fri for after work and a few every Sunday.

Buyins could be $5.50-$33

Competition could give out Sunday million Seats or WCOOP and SCOOP main event seats and have a freeroll for the top 50 players at the end.

Year long satelites to a massive Christmas time Phase 3 tournament.
If that is too long then maybe month long phase competition
Could have $5.50 1 million GT, $11, $2 million GT, $22, 3 million GT, $55 $5 million GT, $109 $10 million GT kinda idea.

Lower rake on micro SNG/MTT!

I don't understand why PS tries to put a rake at 10-cent tourneys that sometimes reaches 20% (so that's 2 miserable cents)! Wouldn't it be great if recreational players could win money at those stakes? Maybe then they get encouraged and try at higher ones!

If only one of those players ever tries a $30 tournament, the investment would have been worth it

Seems to me the fishes are sticking their money in bad more often thinking at least they are guaranteed to get something back. BUT they don't realize that just folding would save more!

Kinda goes against Pokerstars "philosophy" about keeping the fish around if you ask me....

Can you disable being asked for insurance somewhere? These pop ups slow my game down and im always declining anyway...

Ok so the xmas promos are running... get an xmas chest each day you open earn a regular chest. 25 days, 50 chests right?
NOPE. Not for the average player at lower stakes. I can earn 1 a day now with a little difficulty but after the 10th one I get moved up and the requirement goes way up. Either I gotta move up in stakes or put in tons more volume to get one a day...

Either this is poor planning by the promo team not thinking about players not being able to take full advantage of the promo unless they drastically change their play

OR

This is very smart planning knowing that many players will not be able to take full advantage at their current stakes forcing them to move up

Also, I got an "exclusive challenge" as I've seen many other players get also. Mine is $800 for $2000 rake by Jan 3. Looks great at face value, right? 40% rakeback! Awsome! But in an average month i probably dont even rake $1000 so they're challenging me to more than double my rake.
