The Christmas Chest prizes/probabilities are based on the Chest level you earned it on (i.e. were you on Red level, Gold level, etc.). It won't change based on your further play.

From our investigation this specific issue cropped up from last Thursday only. As you know progress bar requirements can change based on different factors so it's likely that's what has happened in your case. But if you want to be sure, PM me your UserID and I can investigate your case specifically.

OK, it's my fault that I didn't increase my daily volume after earning the 2nd key like I wanted to. Thanks for the clarification.

Support gave me the same bull****.

Enjoy it while it lasts. My last 10 chests were 550 points, they won't go down.

Please give us a response to what I see are the two main problems regarding your loyality reward program:


1.) you guys at Pokerstars should really overthink those "secret" chest algorithms, it seems not working properly at least it is not fair and therefore it is frustrating and demotivating thousands of loyal regular players.
I guess it's not your goal to stop your players playing but it happens if you frustrate them.

Since my chest goal has suddenly raised 7 times the amount I had to clear before, I lost motivation to grind anymore. Before I had 1 chest every on or two days, now I need over 10 days to open my surprise... This is especially bad because now I also miss out those extra xmas calendar chests big time, which frustrates even more.


2.) I get heaps of promotion for games I dont wanna play BUT none for Poker... I play POKER and it would keep me satisfied if I get POKER promotions/challenges/reload boni which would make me playing even more Poker.

It's ok if you guys try to lure me into Casino and sports betting with some promotions and challenges, but PLEASE get your software algorhitm in the right way that it's understand that I play mainly Poker (50k+ hands or 2k rake/month) and therefore the way you keep me a satisfied and motivated customer will be to give me promotions/bonuses for the game I like to play.

if you are a winning player they don’t want you as a customer anymore. They proved this when they lied and stole from supernova a few years ago. They do not want poker grinders. This is not Pokerstars anymore. It’s a shady snakeoil company who wants you to play casino games

The concepts of a grinder and a winning player are different Grinders are unwanted, but winners are still tolerated.

It's obvious, that it's a bad system and needs improvement because as far as I can see now, they punish the high raking losing/ Breakeven grinders the most even though they do not harm the fish like a big winning player.


It just makes no sense to me and I guess it's pretty likely that the responsible Pokerstars team has absolutely no clue what they are doing...

Hey Pokerstars, I have two suggestion:

1) Auto activate all promotions. I have missed a lot because I forget to check the promotions available, thats sad.

2) Add an estimate time to finish tournament for all tournaments, I know this can vary but an aproximation of how long a certain tournament can last could people to schedule better their time and play more tournaments by selecting the variants that fits. Sometimes I want to play tournaments but negate myself to do it because I don't know how long it will be.

This seems unlikely: some companies require users to opt-in to promotions because:
a) they want to use their promotional expenditure to change customer behaviour (play more, deposit more, etc.)

b) the only way that can confirm that their promotional expenditure is making an impact is by having customers affirmatively opt-in to the promotional offer (eg, bonus codes, clicking on promotional offers, etc.)

This allows them to save the promotional budget from being spent on people who would have done that thing anyway. For example, there's no direct financial benefit to them to give a 20% deposit bonus to someone who would deposit even with a bonus.

It happened before the last Thursday may be or may be you fixed this trouble not for all affected.
And "However, their next progress bar will have the correct requirements, and we will also be sending out compensation to these impacted players that will more than compensate for any value lost out on." it is not happened in my case.
I never made any cashout, playing micro and I am recreative player, the same activity and always the same games for two last years but my red chests became 550 points, after I back from blue ones.
If you mean it is all right, just tell it here please, or fix it. Players have to right to know your rules. You can change the rules any time, but you have to warn your customers in advance by low. What happened it is not normal, nobody warned me. It is about cents for my case, but moral damage is huge in any case. Think please about it and make a good decision.

Advent calendar chests continue to give out keys even after you have three. Seems like an easy way to give out nothing in a chest.

Yes, they do, and it's clear from the terms of the promo in the challenges window that it's intentional that extra keys can be awarded that amount to nothing.

An easy fix for further promos of this kind would be to have two paytables: one to be used before the player has collected 3 keys, and another to be used after that. It's a real shame that there's a risk of getting nothing on a certain day, though most players are already used to winning nothing in The Deal sometimes.

My promotion suggestion for is - On Christmas to PS employees to present each other sweets in beautiful wraps. The more stupid will receive chocolate candies, with average level of brain will receive a cheap lollipop, and the cleverest will have the empty wrapper. This idea to help them to have a better understanding PS promotion politic and how the players looks at it.

When playing mix games (pokerstars) does the software predetermine hands before dealt or does it allow changes as players fold draw new hands? Example I fold on 4th street in stud does 5th street continue to the next player with what card I would have got or did it already predetermine what every player would have before the hand were dealt? Or is this trade secret?

Why doesn't US Online Poker Rooms advertise in joining States. I play in Maryland often and players have no idea that they can play Pokerstars so forth by just renting a room at a hotel?

Hello. I already sent query to tech support about this and they are fixing it.
Anyways when I try to open my chests I get this following error. I use Windows 8 on my PC and Windows 10 on my laptop. I don't have chrome installed on either one.
I got selected into Santa-promo and I logged in few weeks later. I think that could be causing the problem. Does anyone else have this error? And please fix it fast Pokerstars so that I don't lose the promo!
