Anyone else get a new cardmatch thing today?

So sent support an email today asking my deposit limits to be increased since I'm playing high stakes and was close to running out of funds (which I now have). The deposit limit was increased by 2BI, although I said specifically what limit I'm playing.

I persisted and requested higher limits, after which I was finally asked to fill out a "source of funds" form, which I found ridiculous anyway since I had withdrawn about 100k from stars in the last week alone and was now only asking to deposit back a fraction of those funds from the SAME ACCOUNT.

After multiple emails back and forth, the final result is that nothing can be done because in order to prove those winnings I have to get a "letter of proof" from the site where I won the funds. Why do I have to prove to pokerstars, that I won at pokerstars, do you have absolutely no records at all of what happens on your own site?

Can you please hire support with at least half a brain cell, not just monkeys that click buttons? This is absolutely ridiculous.

So I opened the challenge window yesterday on stars and 3/4 challenges were casino and the 1/4 that was poker is spin and go. Promo's used to be something to look forward to and something to really get involved in. Stars have gone downhill ever since it stopped being just a 'poker site'. A month ago I withdrew over 90% of my bankroll as it's just not worth being part of anymore! A massive shame IMO.

i like the new cardmatch promo. but can you disable automated closing of tables, when i am last one on the table (or others are at sitout)? nothing feels better like hunting cards 150 hands in row with 80% complete only to find out that you close the table. all progress towards promo is lost in that moment.

If you see carefully one of the card (right to Js) image failed to load.. eventually found out it was 10 of spade (Build 16431)

Also others who are playing this card match, pls post the min prize at whatever stakes you play (since they have decided to hide the payouts this time).

I won $0.50 at 10nl zoom.

25nl zoom. Won $1.00 and it only let me have one shot at it whereas previously, they would let you have three chances. Maximum prize offered was $50.

Yeah one shot here too and max I could win at 10nl was $10.

2nl zoom: Won $0.50. Max prize $2.

So i started a "Card match" challenge from the challenges window but is there anything else i have to do? I can't see any of these "match" tabs on my chat window.

Opt in through the challenge window then it should be ready to go. Zoom only too.

wrong. i completed mine on regular table without need to opt in in challenges window. you can start the challenge right from chatbox.

Also am i right in thinking once you've completed the cardmatch at a particular stake, you can switch to another stake and complete the cardmatch there as well?

Confirmed, it does work. I tried the 2nl one, won $0.10 lol

Really bad that they are not revealing the odds for the different rewards. I don#t like the card match promo anyway, but this is really predatory.

My general sense is that people enjoyed this; as you can see, in part based on the feedback from this thread, we have been moving to more personalized challenges and promotions.

Good point - I'll see what can be done about this. The possibility of what we call "orphaned cards" was definitely considered with the decision to move to a longer game.

The CardMatch messages in the challenges window don't actually do anything - they are just to let you know that the game exists and you should go play it. As others have mentioned, it's also at regular NLHE tables as well, not just zoom (though playing zoom is a good way to avoid the orphaned cards scenario described above).

This is a new one on me, and I haven't received any other reports and have been unable to replicate. I'd like to get your log files if you see this occur. In the meantime, if it occurs and you need to know what the card is immediately while you're playing, I believe that if you change your felt color (just right click on the table and choose a new color), it will reload the CardMatch window and reload the card images. You can then change it back to the original background felt and it should be fine.

Yes. Assuming you have sufficient bankroll, you can play CardMatch five different times every day: once each at NL2, NL5, NL10/NL16, NL25/NL50, and NL100+. As you've undoubtedly noticed, the prizes escalate as you move up in stakes.

Try getting a few of your colleagues together and look at the last few pages of the Pokerstars software never improves thread where you'll find your once great software continues to be absolutely unreliable, embarrassing garbage. The last two pages offer a few tips for you and your mia colleagues, you might want to listen. It's unreal how bad every aspect of this company and software has fallen

People also enjoyed the straight flush, 180 sng challenge, so I'm gonna assume we won't be seeing spinball challenge in the near future too.
But yeah jokes aside, definitely Spinball was one of the better promos. More new innovative and customized promos like this. I liked card match promo too!

There is a problem with the NLO8 $27 Omania torn that runs at 4pm GMT. This torn is a 6 MAX torn as it says in the description however for some unknown reason when the final table is reached it plays as 7 MAX. This change only occurred recently and is clearly nonsensical can you help to get it changed back?

I have emailed support about this but so far have received no reply.

Stars emailed me about the cardmatch promo, then in the software it said not available in my region.
I don't care about the promo anyway but just saying

And I believe there is a reason behind 6 max tourney becoming 7 max final table or 4 max tourney becoming a 5 max ft. What happens is that when 7 players are left in a 6 max tourney, table with 3 players are at little disadvantage than players at the other table.
