So to summarize that post, what are your thoughts on these promo ideas?

i) A promo similar to milestone promo concept but instead of awarding cash to a few tables, how about giving away bigger chests to a vast majority of cash/zoom tables. For example, 2nl players getting silver+ chests, freeroll tickets etc.
ii) Golden Spin n gos - Like for example, in the next 1 hour, first 500 games will be chosen a special prize. These may include - Bigger prizes with 2 or 3 ITMs places, mtt tickets, freeroll tickets, StarCoins and bigger chests giveaways etc.
iii) A temporary (a month maybe?) Battle of the Planets leaderboard which also includes spin n gos, power up and of course regular sngs and with exciting prizes like iphone x, ps4/xbox, fifa 18 and other games along with the cash prizes.
iv) Free chests upgrade
v) A higher reward challenge but has to be completed within a short period of time but targetting all types of game formats unlike the challenges like Jacks or Better which is meant only for cash players and Spin n go 2x which is only for spin n go players. So how this would work is you give every players 3 or 4 difficult tasks but they have to pick 1 from them. For example, if you're a cash player your task would be to win 10 showdowns or win a hand with a full house in the next 30 mins. For sngs - Finish 1st in 3 sngs. For mtts - KO 5 players or make itm in 2 tourneys within 30 mins.

Also, I have to ask, what's the future of these steps sngs? Since the last year, they have been mostly dead and I really don't understand why steps euro sngs even exists? At the moment there is not a single euro mtt scheduled but yet they are running and cannibalizing the $ steps which hardly runs.

I get like red ones and when I get to the blue ones and I don't play for one day it is reseted to the red ones?

I used to really enjoy playing the steps, starting from the 60FPP, 100 player sat. Unfortunately I haven't played them in a while, mostly because I've forgotten about them. I think two reasons for that are they are not easily found (I have searched before without being able to find them), and they are not advertised or promoted very often (and I don't mean promoted as in free giveaways).

This was conceived early in the process, and I loved it. I like the fact that the EV was big - huge even - especially as the daily EVs ended up being a little lower than planned.

Thanks for feedback. It definitely could have been smoother. It have a lot of EV away for sure, but not in a way that was super-palpable.

One of the challenges with these type of promos is that weaker players chase them and play weaker as a result. This is good for the players at the table when it happens, but bad for everyone else at the site - including the players themselves.

It is tough to make challenges that are challenging, but don't f up your poker game.

We tried to avoid repetition as much as possible, but a certain amount is pretty much necessary. There was a LOT less than in 2016, and I believe a little less than in 2015

1. One concern is that there is enough randomness in Spin&Gos already to add this... also once the 500 are burned, the promo ends... I've seen how annoyed people get when they hear about limited promos.
2. Interesting. I like BoP but one of the big problems with leaderboards is that once they start only the small number of players with the volume can compete, and the rest are out in the cold.
3. I love this. We have toyed with this idea for a while. Expect to see something like this within coming months.

A suggestion for BoP or something similar would be to make it the best weekly results out of a 50 game batch (or perhaps smaller, something easily achievable for low tabling recreationals). That way it isn't too volume based or overly unfair to recs. Could also limit how many batches each player is allowed to post for week, as in if it is based on 50 game samples make maximum be 300 games for that week then a score in that week is no longer allowed to count.

IIRC the old BoP had a section similar to what I described.

Good input. The one thing about that 50 number.... for some players it is a stretch (yes, even weekly) and for some it is a nothing. The hard part is setting it correctly (or setting different for different types of player). We are thinking about it.

I'm seeing that step sngs have been removed. I so look forward to play $22-$27 buy-in non-special pko tourneys but they don't have any sats. So hopefully, something like a common satellite system would replace those steps in the future.

I had the same bug as mentioned a couple of posts above where a row is completed but no winnings.

Pretty annoying bug for what is already a really ****ty promotion. Just posting here so this can get fixed because obviously I couldn't care less about the 0.25$.

Maybe next promotion you can make it 0.05$, saves the company some money.

I think it's just a bug in the display; you probably got the money, just check the "Transaction History" in the cashier.

The same thing happened to me in both weeks: when I completed that row, I could see the prize, but when I checked back later, the prize was no longer shown and in the total money won, it was replaced by "1 Tournaments".

The whole steps system would probably see more action if the first step was in the $1-$2 range.

I won a $22 dollar Sochi ticket in one of those depositor freerolls.

I'd have no chance of making it to Sochi even if I lucked out and won a seat.

I emailed support and asked could I exchange it for something.
The reply was wait until everything regarding Sochi is finished in Feb then get back to us.

Can I trust them and if so what might they offer me? Any chance of getting tourney dollars?

If not shouldn't I just go for broke and try and win a seat? Could I sell it then?

General rule of thumb. If the ticket was won through a freeroll then it is only good for that promotion/event so use it or loose it.

If the ticket is won through a paid real money entry satellite then its value is transferrable.
