What I do is I only play when a the boost and the daily promo is there and then do the rest of the grinding on another site. I get like 28% rb from stars by doing this. No way in hell im playing with 5%rb vs possibly the hardest competition on the planet.

I agree they need to bring back the rakeback, it's unfair. Also it's not enough just to have customer support via email, we need live chat and a phone number too, same as party poker.

Note that in the spin 2x challenge it's to play a game with a real money buyin of at least $0.25. So you can play 30s and still win multiple quarters/week in the 2x challenge. When the 2x challenge was tailored to buyin a while back $30 regs were winning $20+ a day so obviously it had to be adjusted to the tune of 100x less.

Well my previous post has been deleted cuz political correctness is everywhere, anyway looking at the "opinions" word in the title my opinion is that pokerstars is getting to absurd levels of greed and dishonesty, I think they haven't even emailed us about the details of the new reward system after implementing it, there was no clear info anywhere that the chests expire after 3 months and if someone has earned more than 100 they just see "99+" instead of the exact amount they have so they can't notice them disappearing every month. And all of that just to steal the remaining 5% of player's rakeback, shame on you.

Is there a stars rep I can talk to?

Basically they froze my account for no reason and after providing everything they asked for, they dont bother responding for 48 hours to my email or enabling me to log into my account.

Secondly: I also have a question about the current Spin2X-Promo. In previous versions of this promotion, my minimum buy-in level was always at 1$. That also fit perfectly, since I also played them regularly

Now, my minimum buy-in level was downgraded to 0.25 $ in the current promotion. That was implementet without any reason (I played 1.2k $1 spins last year and only 15x $0.25 spins)

I also contacted the support about that, and they told me, that the current promotion is only available on $0.25 and $ 7 buy-in level. Can you confirm that? (I mainly ask, because Syracuse Baller previously mentioned that he has a minimum buy-in level of $ 1 in his promotion).

Stars seems committed this year to pumping some life back into its Live Event offerings. Are there any promotions on the table to get people to attend Live Events. I know about the big PCA giveaways... but that only helps players who are attending Live Events... what are u guys planning to help players actually get to the events if anything.

As I mentioned briefly above, the minimum may not be directly related to your specific play. Not every player gets a minimum set exactly to typical stakes (it is sometimes lower, almost never higher).

Support are focused on what YOUR offer is, and are not really there to tell you what other promos / offers / levels other players may be getting. I appreciate that some players want to be on different stake levels (or at least, want the option) and we are going to try something like that later this year.

It could be a bunch of reasons - it is not that we rate players on a buyin level, and use that for all promos. We design a promotion for the player group as a whole and run different variants of promotions with different player groups.

One big takeaway from this for me is that players like having promotions tailored close to their typical play, so that the rewards are consistent with their play. As see it, this is a lot better than the one-size-fits-all stuff we had in 2016 and prior for some promotions and challenges.

And what’s the cut off for this? Up to 10€ buy ins or are you custom offering high staked promos as well.

I never played high stakes but i enjoyed watching them and the way you’ve alienated and basically stolen from this player group is pathetic. You are not a casino company, you never will be. When you tried to sell yourselves to will hill they laughed you into submission.

Because they want to pay out they lowest amount possible whilst still claiming to be offering a promotion. I remeber the days where promos where handing out hundreds and thousands of dollars at a time during mike stone hand promotions and look whats happening now. But ask yourself this. Has the average salary of above basic pokerstars support suffered any cut backs in wages? Do you still hold your fancy christmas parties? And fly staff around the world on the company dime? These “promotions” are pathetic.

Yes, there are custom high stakes offerings for many promotions... cash game promotions can have specific challenges and rewards tailored as high as NL100, and even higher in certain cases.

The opposite is the case. For example; many cash game promotions in the past offered one-size-fits-all minimum stake and reward. Often the minimum stake was NL10... the most recent example of this is CardMatch from October 2016.

Now we have promotions (including CardMatch in it's most recent incarnations) that run at all stakes, with stake-appropriate rewards. For challenges we have player-specific stake requirements, and rewards. Some players can have minimum Spin&Go stakes of $100, and cash games stakes of NL100, for example.

The milestones hand promotions were great fun and rewarded big amounts to a lot of players... but the reality is that they excluded a huge number of players not capable of grinding / multi-tabling during the right times of day. A lot more players are getting promotional rewards daily now compared to then.

I was playing the SPIN & GO 2x challenge today, and had the challenge window open while playing. I was at 95 points, and after placing 2nd in a S&G to cross the 100 point level, the progress bar never moved. The top of the window said completed and listed my reward (woohoo, 50 cents, he says sarcastically), but the progress bar continued to say 95/100.

Playing Jacks or Better and the same thing happened. The progress bar is stuck on 465, even though I hit a straight and my reward is displayed at the top of the page (woohoo, another 50 cents).
