Umm not sure if this is the best thread to post this in, but there's an ad running on 2p2 right now advertising the Knockout Week Main Event saying it runs on November 18th. Afaik I know it actually runs today (October 18th). Is there another Knockout Week scheduled for November too, or is this just a flub?

Has everyone else got the VIP program survey in the inbox? I'm lucky to be a Chromestar at this point, so I've told them what I think about the VIP program and there's a higher chance of me being heard than it would be after I become a Gold-Platinumstar as a result of the $5 Spins being in the lobby

Judging by the language of the survey ('Would you like the program to be weighted more towards FPP exchange or towards other bonuses and promotions?', 'Is it clear to you how to spend FPPs?'), it looks like no wonders are happening and Stars are considering reduction of the VPP earning pace or the FPP value in 2016. Perhaps we'll see a high variance monster with tiny value disguised as big, akin to FTP's 'The Deal' (for which the lack of players' awareness of the ways to spend FTPs was cited as a major reason, as if they couldn't just put up more banners to raise this awareness).

I mean, the idea of 'The Deal' itself is OK, but I'd rather they make the coin earning rate 5 times faster and thus the promo 5 times more generous

Now that its confirmed there wont be micro million series this November, I hope to see plenty of promotions in Nov-Dec and it would be very very disappointing if they happen to be some crap all in shootout freerolls or challenges that awards you $.50 spin n go tickets almost everytime. Hope to see reload bonus, discounted/half price in sunday major tourneys, random milestones both cash and tourneys, golden sngs, major fpp tourney, discounts in vip store, etc

Come on, at all 'ir-Rational' sites where I've encountered the opt-in button, even if one opts in near the end of the promo, the stats from the beginning of the promo period (prior to opting in) do count in. It's only Stars (and likely FTP, though I'm not 100% sure*) who rob those who forget to opt-in at the start of their path.

* FTP does 'owe' me $100 in all honesty because once upon a time in 2013 I clicked the opt-in button of the Rush Week in advance but my claim somehow wasn't registered and I found this out when it was too late.

no no no, they'll just have a series of fpp tournaments, for which you have to pay rake using fpp's to keep them realistic (just like their play money games), which everyone will play before they get devalued at the end of the year. everyone's a winner!

I would really like to see daily big tournaments that you can qualify for with steps. Instead of nightly 55, 162 I would like to see BIG $27, 82 and 215. I think it would create larger fields with players of varying skill levels. I don't know about everyone else but I don't particularly enjoy the 2x 3x turbo qualifiers where you have to play insane in order to have a stack by the time the add on comes around 60 -90 minutes later.

This is coming from a long time customer that has been hoping to get the chance to one day be able to play on P.S. again. I'm in the U.S. so THIS doesn't affect me in that sense, but in that sense ALONE. It is now clear as day, that the new management doesn't care about the players anymore, just the short-term profits. You're completely insulting our intelligence and just don't give a F. about the current and former player pools and loyal customers that are used to the highest of standards set by your former management. I'm not blaming the new rep in here (mods) they got now, I know it wasn't in your control.

Unfortunately, the new management seems to want to run this operation like it had an expiration date, as if every penny had to be pinched right this moment... even it meant decreasing LONG-TERM profits and penalizing pretty much any player on the site that had put in any volume, or aspired to.

This had nothing to do w/ levels of skill, not HUD's, not other 3rd party software... it had to do w/ how much time they were putting into the games. So don't give us this crap about doing it for a "level playing field" or whatever else B.S. phrasing you'll choose to come up w/ in the future. It's insulting and transparent to any human being that has a decent amount of brain cells.

You know, it might help if you actually got some input from actual poker players before you play Russian roulette w/ your company. Do a poll w/ your customer base and offer them X amount of FPP's for taking the time to answer the survey, try focus groups on the web, FFS... ANYTHING is better than how you are currently making changes, seemingly w/ no regard for the loyal customers. I read years ago P.S. had invited players a few times a year or something for their input on the company on 2p2... guess that went out the door along w/ the ethics, satisfying customers and respecting the customers. Trying to pass this weak attempt of a lie off as the truth. Never in my wildest dreams did I think P.S. would screw their customers over, then again... this is Amaya management's idea of running (ruining) a company and not the PokerStars management of old.

Stay classy Amaya, acquire the biggest name in the industry and turn it into a joke within months. To add insult to injury, you then treat the customers like they were incapable of deciphering your deceitful tactics while trying to pass it off as being the Robin Hood for recreational players.

December 1 at the earliest, I reckon. In November, there are the Spin & Go Anniversary and PCA Puzzle promos and no need to announce anything else yet.

spins and pca puzze have nothing to do with mtts, and this promotion is about tournaments.
