you're making the claim that you didn't break the rules, that you didn't deserve to have your money taken. if you want to actually demonstrate that pokerstars acted in error, that your claim is true, it requires details. if you just wanted a blind eye and some sympathy post on facebook or whatever.

Note how many times I posted the email reply from PS. This is all they’ve done. Some lame excuse that my account didn’t pass a random security screening.
That’s directly from PS, everything else is my reaching for plausible true reasons. In any stretch of the imagination, I find it hard to believe I actually ‘chip dumped’. If I’m guilty of that, than everyone who’s lost a hand is also guilty.
I posted this so others would be aware of what PS can, and does do to accounts and people’s money. I didn’t volunteer to be roasted, or satisfy every trolls skepticism. I’m not asking for help, looking for sympathy or an argument. Don’t believe me? That’s fine. I’m not going to berate you for your opinion, nor will I accept it.
This thread is just one immature hijacking troll post after another. I suspect some of it is from PS bandwagoner’s and the like. People who adore a company to the point of ignorance.
Anyways, I’m done with the peanut gallery. I have better things to do than make up stories, or defend myself against wanna be comedians.

This guy pmarrsouth has a lot of credibility here. You didn't tell him that you chip dumped to another account?

"As to my financial vocabulary errors, is that really important? Was my point that play money chips have value, which isn’t the same value as they are labeled Value not elaborated?

Jesus Christ, is everyone a troll here? Mocking me, or dissecting my grammar only makes you look like a fool."

Sorry I wasn't trying to make fun of you...play chips sort of do and don't have value at the same time. I think spending $140 on play chips is a bit weird, and a pokersite confiscating them for chip dumping rather than come up with some other solution is also weird and kind of mean.

Hey,
I just went through an ordeal with PS, whom closed my account right after I spent $140 on play chips. After ten years with an account and most of those sharing an IP, they said my account didn’t pass a random security screening.
Anyways I finally got my money back, and received help from a person named Joan, who works for the ‘Players advocacy’ department at the Rational Group aka PS. In my case I think Apple was more to thank for my refund then PS, as I paid for the chips through iTunes and it was Apple that issued my refund.

playeradvocate at starsgroup dot com is the email I found to contact her. I also contacted the Isle of Man gaming commission who eventually got back to me, but it took them a couple months. Maybe if my matter was in regards to $5000 real cash they would have been in touch earlier.

I would never have guessed PS would treat customers like this, and perhaps we’re the exceptions, but we’re not alone. I know I’ll never trust them with anything again. I suspect their settlement with the US Government for something like $700 million has made them look for every chance to scoop people’s money from them.

Good luck. I know they just ignored my emails, and when they did reply it took them the better part of a week to do so. They may as well write you a letter. Pretty pathetic.

Oh, and don’t expect any help or sympathy from here. Nearly all I got from my post here was people demanding ‘All emails!’, yet for the only purpose of their curiosity apparently. No one here has any authority or avenue for help. (Bring on the flames).

There is a Casino complain site that seemed to have an ear to someone from PS with authority. A quick google should get you that site. Yet I’d suggest emailing Joan, as she was very understanding, and was essentially the only communication I had with PS that didn’t feel like I was conversing with a computer ‘Bot’, or people without souls, lol.

Dude you bought $140 worth of play money chips. Did you seriously not anticipate that people were going to break your balls a bit? If you expected sympathy instead a good ribbing that was bad foresight. Just because you didn't find help from posting doesn't mean other people haven't been able to. There's been plenty of times people have posted here and it gotten to the attention of someone who could help.

I had $140 essentially stolen, plain and simple. A few jokes wouldn’t be an issue, it was the bandwagon of people trying desperately to discredit me and blindly defend PS that was absurd.
If your in a position to actually help, you don’t ask for someone to post all their emails publicly. What’s the point of that? Like someone missed a sentence of the email that explains everything?
“Post all emails” translates to “I love PS, and I want to try and find a convoluted and irrelevant hole in your story to flame you and defend my love for PS”. lol
All the people who Demanded my emails had no authority to do anything about it. So why ask / demand it at all? The whole tone of “Post all emails” sets the stage for their true intention.
I have links and names of people who can help this guy get to the bottom of his issue. I don’t need to see his emails, and I know personally there generic and contain nothing relevant. Their not going to email you with specific details of their security reasons and actions, obviously. They won’t even contain anything specific at all. At best they’ll indirectly imply a reason.
Google it up, me and this guy are far from the only people who’ve had their accounts frozen or closed, money taken and received little to no communication as to why.
If your going to take drastic security measures, and seize a persons money, you don’t wait for them to email you asking why. And you don’t take days, weeks, or months to even reply. Professional companies that need to take drastic action like that, expedite a resolution with immediate initiative to communicate their actions or intentions.

We’re talking about people’s money here. When casinos take your money it’s not their money. They obtain authority to essentially put your money in a bank account that they have access to with justifiable reasons for it.

Reading the fine print of their policies give one the impression they can do whatever they want with your money. That’s complete BS, and don’t believe it for a second.

Moved OP's posts from another thread to this one, as they contain an update to the situation in this thread, and for some reason he seemed to want to derail that thread.

No, that's not really an accurate description of what happened.

Well, of course people who don't work for Stars don't have any authority at Stars. But the several Stars reps that participate in our forums do.

Derail? I shared with the OP the info I found that helped me resolve my similar issue. How can that be contorted into derailing?
The last thing I am or was looking for is an argument, yet that is all I received. Not even a hint of a suggestion of how or what I could do. Only a hostile cross examination with blatant attempts to discredit me.
The simple fact I got my money back is proof positive of my credibility, and that PS had no right to take my money.
Yet, I’ll let the vultures pick this guy apart now, and move on. With one email to Joan he, and anyone else who reads this will have their concerns addressed to someone who can and will get answers and solutions.

It can't, which is why I didn't call your first post derailing. Your first post appeared to be quite helpful. The derailing post was the one I replied to. The post that served no purpose other than to complain about your perception of shoddy treatment in this thread. The one you obviously knew would cause a derail, as you even said "bring on the flames".

You're more than welcome to post there with suggestions to help him, just as you're welcome to post in this thread about your complaints of how others replied to your situation.

That may be what happens, or it may not. I'm happy that you got your situation resolved, but just because it worked for you doesn't mean it will work for everyone else. But it's a good suggestion, and I'm sure the OP appreciates it.
