how come pokerstars nj has no social media presence if they wanna grow the site or player pool?..they have a twitter but hasnt tweeted or hasnt accepted any followers,im confused as to how they plan to grow in NJ..ive been asking for a $5 plo game forever...its like this the only place for starsNJ?...crazy

Thanks, these are very helpful suggestions. I was hoping to reduce the clicks from 2 to 1. On WSOP/888 you can change the default size from 2bb to 3bb, but guess it's not an option on Pokerstars. Guess I'll just have to suck it up and hotkey the sizing.

Yes, it doesn't match up. My challenge the other day was to play 100 hands on the Dolly Madison (I think that's the name) slot machine with a minimum of 100 x $0.20 bet, but that particular machine has a $0.40 minimum, so I didn't complete the challenge. The challenge didn't indicate that I could play any machine but that one to complete it.

yeah just to confirm the 3 times ive looked over the slots challenge it said "complete 100 spins of 20c min per at <specific slots>."

the 3 days i opened slots the min bets were 40c, 40c, and 50c. also i tried a random slot that had a 20c min but those spins didnt count towards the challenge.

Follow up on the slots thing, it started working again the next day.

Grunching some - yeah, I think the min bet is just a rule for the promo, but the min bet on the slot machine might be higher (and on some, like Judge Dred, I think higher still to get the best odds, but I haven't done any EV calcs to see if getting those extra wilds is worth the extra $$ if you are just clearing a bonus. Basically, I just like degening it up for the promo )

Also, if someone can confirm that you can play any slot for these that would be great. There are definitely some I like more than others (I'm looking at you stars and bars, you suck)

fnord-too is right here regarding the min-bet requirements. It's a 'general' rule for the promo, and the slot in question for a particular Challenge may have a higher min-bet. I have passed the feedback on to the Casino team that this can and has caused some confusion, and they'll take it into consideration the next time a promo of this nature is run.

Regarding which slots the Challenge is eligible for, the Challenge itself should say exactly which game is eligible for. My understanding is they are for specific games and don't apply to all slots, for example.

it was a 5$ reentry w 500$G
then it was 5$ 350$G for like a week
now its a 10$ 350$ G
today it was cancelled

im guessing next step is to remove it.

before that, might i suggest what i think are better options than 1) cutting the Guar, 2) raising the buyin.

1. move the start time from 530 to 730p and back to 5$ buyin 500$G

2. along with the time move maybe make it a 2$ rebuy 500$G

3. move time. make it a 2$ rebuy + make it a turbo w 500$G


i think those 3 options are better than keeping it at 530, lowering the Guar, and raising the buyin.


just suggestions. id rather not lose the only plo8 mtt on the board and thats where this looks like its going.

Anyone else unable to start the card hunt challenges for the next day at midnight? Don't think I have been on much past 1230am, but I've never been able to start them at or around midnight. Have always had to wait until the next morning.

I started mine at 12:01am today. There are 2 different card hunts that will show, did you scroll past the completed one from the previous day to the get to the new one?

@pokerstars dylan - i have emailed support 3 times over past 5 days without a response or acknowledgment. I've used the email function within the client as well as replying to an earlier email from support via gmail so I am sure at least a few arrived. Will you be able to look into the delay if I pm details?

Was a fun excuse to degen it up for a bit each day.

Is there going to be a PokerStars NJ WCOOP?

I read on twitter from Jason Mercier a few days ago that there will be some sort of live poker tournament at Resorts. The dates are Oct. 29 - Nov. 6.

That's my fault. I resisted the urge to degen until yesterday when I qualified for both and made a few dollars doing it.
