I read article that 500 preselected players can play? is this true? Or will anyone be able to sign up today and play?

Anyone can sign up and play (provided they're in NJ) during the soft launch, but they will cap the logins to 500 people during this dry run period.

Not pre-selected. There is a CAP of 500 players* playing at any given moment on the tables for the first few days during the soft launch phase [this cap is to ease the testing of servers & player validation/geolocation I suppose]

Download the software when it becomes available in 2 hours & you can register & deposit - no CAP on depositors only on number of players.

NOTES
[1] * I'm unsure if the 500 number is the number of screen names or number of seats available
[2] I've assumed you're over 21, have an SSN, a US postal address & are located within the borders of NJ

I know things won't be like it use to be or how it is now for the ROW, but I gotta tell you I am beyond excited for this. Literally thinking of taking off work tonight.

As long as you can watch live games from the lobby without signing in, I don't see why not.

just noticed pokerstars sells play money chips now, lol. $1.99 buys you 350k in play chips. The itch is real.

Hard to say considering that (I believe) we don't even know the actual details of the other bonus. Beyond the fact that it's for a lower percentage and "easier" to clear.
