Just checked it again and mine does also say April 30, 2016. I'm sure they'll fix this though.

how do we know players arent vp-ning from other states to play stars nj?

is there some sort of system stars security has to keep this from happening?

Can we get satellites to the nightly 250 KO Fever? I'm probably not going to be buying in direct, but would love to satellite in!

Also please advise how to save the table size?
I don't want to resize my table every time I login.
Try settings > layouts > table window position > "Remember Table Positioning"

Tested this by installing chrome remote desktop. Looks like you get an "unable to confirm current location" pop up and it references prohibited software such as teamviewer, logmein. So, seems like there is protections in place.

Also, must give credit to Pokerstars Dylan for being extremely helpful with my support tickets. He has been quick, responsive, and thorough with all inquiries.

Some of these tourneys, recently, have been screwing up. Late registration which is supposed to be available for 2 hours, stops around 1hr 20 mins in. The 4pm $5, $500gtd BIG 5 did this today. I got to my computer at 530pm, and there was no more late reg. It thus overlayed big time. Same just happened with the 6pm BIG 10. Late reg was supposed to be open till 8pm. It's 732 pm now, and late reg has ended.

Dylan any idea on when the VISA credit card deposit will be up and running?
03-31-2016 , 02:49 AM
I have passed the feedback on. In related news, this morning we added $2.5/$5 PLO8, $2/4 8-Game, and $0.15/$0.30 PLO.

Regards,
Dylan[/QUOTE]

Just for fluidity we should probably add 2/4 limit to the pure limit games as 1/2 to 3/6 is a weird jump. Plus 2/4 limit has one of the fairest rake structures compared to all neighboring limits. Just feedback not a 'must do'

Satellites will be deployed for Monday.

New cash game limits were added today: $3/6, $5/10, and $10/20, as well as $4/8 and $10/20 8Game.

Dylan

Correction, the first line should read $3/$6, $5/$10, and $10/20 for Stud, as well as $4/$8 and $10/$20 for 8Game.

Apologies for the mistake.

Thanks,
Dylan

Wish there was some action in the 5-card draw games. I find it a relaxing change and was looking forward to it when Stars returned.

Is NL .05-.10 too high for those who don't know the game? You'd think beginners would at least give it a go just for laughs.

Dylan, any word about a Tournament Leaderboard or SNG leaderboard for April?

I am a recreational player, but it seems that pokerstars is overall being very responsive to the suggestions on this forum. Thumbs up to Dylan for an excellent job so far.
Since I am unable to do the quick change to the nj system until I get out there next month, I am looking for recommendations for the speediest deposit process. I will be unable to get to AC this trip, so Resorts is out.
Also, is verification documentation required for the quick change?
One last thing, where do I go to see traffic for the various sites? Im curious as to the player pools.
Thanks all for your time and posts. Have enjoyed reading this and other forums.

If you want to get a head-start on going through the "Quick Account Creation" process of converting your COM account an NJ account, you should be able to go into your COM account, change your registered state to New Jersey, and next time you login it should trigger the NJ Quick Account Creation process.

I should again reiterate that if you want to retain your COM account for future use outside of the U.S., do NOT go through those steps and instead create a separate PokerStars NJ account.

Glad you've enjoyed the thread so far!

Regards,
Dylan

Can somebody please explain how their daily $50 progressive knockout MTT works?
03-31-2016 , 03:36 PM
Dylan,

Thank you for all your responses. As a recreational player I've had no major issues. As others have intimated, more satellites are welcomed and I'm sure the sound glitch will be taken care of. Unlike others I'm perfectly happy with the stakes being offered. It always seems like a game is going at all stakes (nl/plo/8game) rather than the lobby full of vacant tables. Personally, I find it more appealing/inviting.

there is action sparesly and inconsistantly. id love more action in it. ive heard there was a full table going at some point but have only been able to get hu action going and at most 3 handed (unfortunately only for a few hands before somebody leaves) i think nl .05/.10 might be too high for those who dont know the game to try but nobody in the games ive been in was playing it aggressive or like it was nl. the younger generations seem to know/care only of holdem (for the most part)

Maybe throw out a .01-.02 table to suck them in?

Scotch asks for the limits to be raised and it happens instantly imo

This is fair, but with the way the table spawning works on Stars, if you added higher stakes all that would be added in the lobby would be 1 empty $10/$20 table, 1 empty $25/$50 table, etc. Do you think this would make the lobby feel significantly more empty?
