By far the worst support I've ever experienced in NJ. I contacted support and guy tells me my account is closed. I played a online slot to confirm he was full of ish. He says it's all very confusing and had to open a case with tech or w/e. I found out where the confusion came in when he gave me my old email address, probably from before Black Friday. How does something like that happen? I kind of called the guy an idiot and he blocked my chat, w/e, he wasn't very helpful to begin with, no lose.

Besides that, there is an issue where challenges aren't loading, i confirmed on twitter with a few others, this is a site-wide issue. Leads me to believe this also has something to do with the deposit bonus space missing when I go to deposit.

few hours later i get this;

Poker Stars Support is the absolute worst I have ever experienced.

I am still trying to find someone I could email outside of there because their support management is absolutely horrendous. I was actually insulted by one of the escalation managers named Randy. I asked for the name of his manager and he refused to give it to me. I cannot believe the poor ethics they have. Their support is the reason I will no longer play on there. I am still looking for someone I can contact regarding this egregious experience.

Does anyone else have trouble getting money onto PokerStars NJ? With regard to limits and such. I recall receiving a limit increase once before, and even with that increase, the best I can do is $600 via eChecks and $1000 via Paypal on any given day, and then in the days after I'll be able to do less and less.

It's a problem when there's high-ish stakes tournaments running (such as the NJCOOP currently). If I'm playing a $300 and rebuy a couple times, that's already more than a full day's worth of deposits. For example, I'm likely skipping the $1k tonight purely because I'm scared if I brick I then won't be able to get enough money on to play other tournaments in the days to come. Kind of a shame.

It's bizarre, because on WSOP I can put $3000 on at a time with no issue, but on Stars that seems to be impossible. I emailed support but, alas, to no avail.

the cardmatch promotion works for me about half the time. when you join a table it often just says "take a seat to get started" and never gives the user the option to start the challenge. it's been like this for weeks so im sure it won't get fixed.

It's been like that for years. There used to be a fix that was posted in this forum about a year ago, but oddly enough they seem to have fixed the glitch that allowed you to fix the glitch in their promo, but not the promo itself.

Experiencing a glitch whereby I cannot open any of my chests. I really don't want to have to uninstall/reinstall the software because there's the danger of losing my settings/player notes (I know I can save these files as a backup beforehand but would prefer not to have to).

Does anyone have a fix for this?

yeah they said their tech team is working on it. Since it's sunday I'm guessing it won't get fixed until tomorrow.

Don't bother... I reinstalled it myself for this very reason and it didn't help.

Just got this email response to the chests...

Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience and concerns caused by this issue with our Rewards Chests. We are aware of this, and are already working on a fix.

Unfortunately, we do not have an exact estimate on when the fix will be completed.

We appreciate your patience and understanding.

i had the issue as well and couldn't open chests, but it was seemingly fixed on monday. did anyone else experience losing chests after this occurred? I had 6 chests to open but when i went online monday i had 2. i guess this is too small for them to care but with rakeback as low as it is this is the cherry on top

I also lost 2 chests (had 4 gold, had 2 upon login today). I assumed this was some facet of the Very Well Designed system of the chests (like maybe the other 2 got used toward an upgrade)--now I realize I might have literally just lost the rakeback due to their software glitching.

I also lost I believe 3 chest after rakeback. It was diamond as well so about $50 on average goes pooffff

I think there was a glitch in issuing the chests in the first place. I noticed I was erroneously granted a few chests when my status bar was not totally filled. When the chest-opening problem was fixed, my chest count went down from 6 to 3, but I'm pretty sure those additional ones were mistakenly awarded to me.

I just moved to NJ and installed Pokerstars NJ. I can't see any zoom games, there are not even "empty" zoom games. Is zoom not offered any more?

I'm getting back into online poker after many years. I live in NJ so am restricted to that pool.

I'm interested in the Pokerstars Sunday tournaments. Specifically the Sunday Warm Up and Sunday Special.

How long do these tournaments typically take to play out? Do they usually do better than the guarantee? I can't seem to find any recent past results or anything for these.

I have the bankroll to play them but also need to wake up for work Monday mornings.

the sunday warm up took 6 hrs
prize pool of 5400 vs 4000 guarantee

the sunday special took 6 1/4 hrs
prize pool of 26K vs 25K guarantee

Hi all -

Long time lurker haven't posted in years. Something irked me today and thought i'd get some public opinions.

On PSNJ, saw that my current chest level was set to expire. It was over 4,000 points to get the chest, I had somewhere around 1,400. Ok, whatever, they'll drop me down to lower level and the prizes won't be as great. Not something that I was worried about.

Signed in today to find my chest expired, and I was at a lower chest level. The problem I have is that my points were now at 0. What happened to the 1,400 or so I had banked?

Emailed starts support explaining the above. They basically just cite policy is when a chest expires you forfeit points if you don't reach halfway. I say I earned those points why should they just be tossed out??? Just get robotic response after robotic response referring to the page that cites the policy (which I am not disputing that the policy is there). My complaint is this is a bad policy and aimed at duping casual players out of their points. It's infuriating the robotic responses I get. They even cite that the rules are there to promote recreational players (how??? this is actually the opposite).

I of course said I'd play elsewhere now and told them they were all robots.

So am I over-reacting? Or is this a sneaky scummy policy they have to screw over a casual player like me who isn't checking his chest status or the latest policies daily.
