No - but we are having a technical issue where your progress bar isn't being displayed. You continue to earn VIP Steps & StarsCoin in the background. We're working towards fixing the issue as quickly as possible. At the end of the month, you usually receive 50% of the prorated value of your progress. Given the issue this month, we will be crediting players the full value of their progress given you haven't been able to track it properly these past days.

I believe card match is not working along with wait lists. Every time I'm on a wait list - the pop up doesn't come up.

While that was a generous offer from Stars for last month, I'm beginning to wonder if fixing the problem is on the agenda at all. Been a couple of weeks and still can't view VIP status.

Is anyone else having issues with CPU usage for NJ Stars? I just have the client open with no tables running and when i pull up Task Manager (after hearing my computer making more noise than normal) it says that Pokerstars.exe is using 13 under the CPU column. that seems pretty absurd to me. idk if its an issue on my end or an issue with a new update but not even using Chrome uses that much CPU.

that's not absurd at all. it's really not a large amount and chrome at anytime can use that much.

lol? what a troll 1st post. Chrome's CPU usage is obviously related with how much activity you are using Chrome for. being just logged into a poker client with no tables open shouldn't be using as much CPU as it currently is when it never used to do it before. absurd is definitely the right word.

currently in contact with support to resolve this issue.

Hi all,

I wanted to provide an update on the VIP Club/VIP Steps issue. As I'm sure you're aware, we haven't been able to fix the lack of surfacing of the program in the NJ client. I won't bore you with the technical details, but the issue was unforeseen and stems from maintaining two programs (VIP Club in New Jersey, Stars Rewards everywhere else) at the same time. At this stage, we don't expect to fix the issue before we are in fact able to launch the new Stars Rewards program in New Jersey later this year.

As I previously mentioned, players have received a StarsCoin credit for the inconvenience (the full remaining StarsCoin of their incomplete Step was credited), however we'll also be making an additional credit to players later today to give them an extra bonus Step in recognition of the issue on our side. For example, if you're a GoldStar VIP who finished the month on a Step worth 200 StarsCoin, you'll get an additional 200 StarsCoin credited to your account plus the StarsCoin of any incomplete progress. This additional credit should be made later today for June's impact, and for the month of July and going forward we will be much quicker making these credits. I expect the credits for July will be made by August 3rd.

As for the launch of Stars Rewards, I will update this thread when I'm confident in a launch timeline.

Thanks for the update Dylan. Frustrating, but generous. If I can make a suggestion that might be a temporary solution and allow players to track progress, I noticed that I was still able to track points for a deposit bonus I had running for a time. Would it be able to temporarily rig something in the bonus section that might allow players to track points in the short term? I was able to see exactly how many points I accrued in July, but otherwise it will be impossible to have any idea where on the spectrum I am in August.

I have 2 separate tickets to the $400 summer series main event this Sunday @5pm Eastern--I plan to use one, but would prefer to convert the other one into tournament dollars. Is this possible, or is my utility with regard to the second ticket limited to a potential re-entry into the Main during the late reg. period?

This situation is far from ideal, so I appreciate your understanding. The bonus window idea an interesting suggestion that I hadn't thought of. Will investigate and see if there's some type of solution that would help you track your monthly progress.

Resolved (emailed them)--if unused, Summer Series tickets can be converted into tourney dollars in the week following the events.

Getting updated on things, there is still no integration with the rewards program at resorts Ac? This is the only site that doesn’t offer you to earn points/credits towards its casino partners rewards program. I guess there will never be any intergeation with resorts?

I'm a truck driver from Phoenix AZ. Currently here I sit in Swedesboro NJ and can't play because they say I am geolocating where my house is. I'm using my Iphone hotspot. Anyone know how to fix this issue?

Can you provide the dates for NJCOOP 2018? Is it safe to assume first two two weeks in Oct again? Also, I’m assuming the platinum pass will be involved. Instead of addding 2 30k passes to the main event winners haul, how about running a leaderboard where the top 2 performers over the ENTIRE NJCOOP festival win platinum passes and not just two lucky folks who binked the mains? This would certainly encourage more widespread participation in your entire series which should be the goal and not just your final weekend. Please consider a leaderboard insteaad of what you did in the Spring; it’s much more fair and way more fun way of rewarding your most loyal player base.

I have done nothing wrong. Now a 5-figure amount of money is frozen.

Im having the same problem. Its using about 25% of my cpu vs other sites only using about 5 percent.

Can't bet sports on laptop, but if you have Stars on an ipad, it works in the app.

Separately, seems there's a casino bonus, but software on laptop/windows won't open casino client. And still can't view poker status/points.

Great job on sports betting promos and actually all the promos. Software is the ****s though.
