If you play on stars NJ is there anything stopping you from setting up a ROW account if you were to travel abroad? Would you have to close down your stars NJ account or can you make an entirely separate one?

No need to close down your NJ account, you would set up a separate one. However, you would need proof of address, poss proof of residency, to wherever you are traveling. Generally, if you are just going on holiday this is not sufficient to set yourself up on PokerStars.com (or .uk etc).

For more information, you'll need to contact PokerStars support, who can tell you exactly what you'd need.

The new mobile app is completely awful. You can't even browse a lobby of running games.

I do not like that you cannot get on a waiting list for full games. I prefer to play $50 Max 9-handed NLHE and I constantly am unable to do so because the tables are all full. I haven't tried to jump on a waiting list on my PC and then transfer to my phone and see if I would stay on the list and get called so I am not sure that's even a workaround.

did anyone start having geolocation issues around 10ish pm tonight? i've played poker from the same location for like 3 years with no issue but I'm not able to locate atm.

yes, everyone in NJ is, as well as NV and PA. seems to be issue with whoever provides geolocation services

Hi,

Anyone have any advice?

Never had an issue with geolocation...today installed mesh router network and now I am unable to geolocate.

Is there a specific setting I need to change to get it working again?

Again, never had this issue before on this PC.

Also, I am able to connect using my wife's computer on the same network.

Any suggestions?

Honestly what the **** am I supposed to do with a $50 NJSCOOP ticket that is only valid in the exact amount of $50? I would have busted earlier on purpose to get a $30 ticket had I known. You really can't just award T$?

Pokerstars NJ has been showing as "Under Maintenance" since at least last evening. Are others seeing this?

Pokerstars PA & Pokerstars MI seem to be online again. Tournaments aren't on the schedule yet, but cash games, spin and go, and sit and go are running. This doesn't help you in NJ, but it should assure you that things are starting to come back online.
