Yeah they are all declining and the acceleration coincided with their new chest program. I for one play less volume in general on stars and moved some over to WSOP and Party particularly in cash games. Star's client and look might be worlds better than the other two sites but it doesn't make up how much they dicked over their customers with the chest rewards. If you are looking to play particularly at the 100 buy in level Party has their Daily consistently set to 10k no matter what day (stars 100 oscillates between 6-8k).

Also I find the timing of the implementation of the chest program to be pretty suspect. The move happened on their global sites what 3 years ago at this point? So why now on NJ? I think the answer is they wanted to keep the NJ player pool pretty happy and as robust as possible before they merged with PA. But have the system ready in place and the new standard when their player pool more than doubles with the addition of PA.

I put in the most volume on this site than any other player. Screen name is MastrCoater....all i can say is the VIP program and the rewards is so outrageous. If you sharkscope my volume of games played compared to anyone I believe i more than triple any other player at Sit N Gos. I don't even get contacted by support and offered rooms at the resort or any other cool poker stars gear etc. It really makes me feel. not important. shame...

As heads up Bovada will not let you play from NJ, so if you're thinking you can supplement, you can't. Perhaps you can get away with it for short time, but eventually they will shut account. NJ Games are pretty dead most of the day. Personally, I don't think its worth it anymore. God knows whats gonna happen when banks stop taking deposits in April, which there is legit non zero chance of happening. But hey, gotta do what you gotta do.

Personally can't wait till I get a job in my new field and leave poker behind. If you're moving exclusively to play 50-200 for a living, not saying you cant make a living, but at the same time it isn't all that great. The games aren't ACR bad, but they aren't Bovada good either. I'd say it's somewhere in between.

I'm assuming you know about the doj's recent wire act ruling, if you don't just google or check out onlinepokerreport.com . The bright side is that sites and states themselves may likely attempt to fight the ruling. However, banks are risk averse and there is a chance(nonzero) that they decide to approach it like marijuana legalization and they refuse to accept gambling transactions. The ruling gave until April for entities to come into compliance

lol idk about the first part, but I do agree with the sentiment of the second part. people who start games aren't exactly rewarded. seems obvious to me that stars gutted the rewards program because they wanted to make as much money as possible when they launched in PA yet given the current DOJ opinion it seems like things won't exactly go as planned.

What do you mean go to sharkscope and look at the game count. I put in over 2k already this year. I watch you put in a lot too. I'm positive I put in the most. In response to the whore wire act and banks not taking deposits in April I would bet that we in NJ are fine.

Good response. I'm more of a micro grinder (bad one) and i like to play the small $5-$10 tourneys on stars, but just seems like it's not worth it anymore. The $5 used to be gtd like $500 and now its $300, it's not even fun to play a poker game for 6 hours and make like $130 if you win, make $0.30 if you min cash.

The thing that needs to happen is that late reg needs to be put down an hour or so earlier.

I have found the new reward system to be so irritating and infantilizing. Sitting there clicking buttons to get $1, or $3, or $6, or sometimes $26!?!?!? is so aggravating!
Does Pokerstars imagine that we want to play low stakes slots games? The attitude of contempt embedded in the flashing lights all sizzle no substance chest program is so irritating, to say nothing of the giant cut to rewards.
AT LEAST TREAT US LIKE GROWNUPS. give us a choice to select higher val less frequent chests. so i get fewer reminders of how pokerstars is screwing me.

I've been playing on Stars for a while and never had a complaint but I was treated horrendously by one of the escalation managers. I haven't deposited on there since and I'd like to let someone high up know of my experience and why.

I emailed from another email address thinking maybe it never got there and haven’t received any sort of acknowledgement on that one either. Can someone please help?
