Update i am finally able to play and have my account unlocked. Felt GREAT even as tired as i am tonight to play a sng on Stars which imo has always been the best. Now it is simple cashier,deposit,repeat See everyone at the tables.

I initially had complained a little bit as to what I perceived as the structures of the tournaments being really fast, but I'm thinking now that the software is so good/fast compared to the sites I've played on post BF, that the structures are actually fine.

I've only played 23 tournaments so far, which has included 1,779 hands over 13.7 hours, which comes out to about 129 hands/hour. Not bad! Granted, I've played more 6-max on PokerStars than ACR, etc. But I'd be curious to know how many hands/hour others are getting in on Stars and compared it to their usual slate of tournaments on ACR, etc.

It definitely does not seem like the structure is as good as pre-black Friday, but it's not horrible.

I did notice that the lower buy-in tourneys $1 - $5 only have a 2500 chip starting stack vs. 5000. The standard tourney blinds are 8 min., while the turbos are 6 min. That's not much of a difference in time, although I did not look closely at the actual blind level structure.

As someone who has been playing on Carbon Poker exclusively since 2010, I do appreciate that late registration is *only* 2 hours on PokerStars (on Carbon it was 2 hr 45 min. or longer just so they could hit their guarantees).

I've taken what I think are 1-2 hour breaks and when I come back to a cash table, if I happen to be at one I was at previously, it buys me in for the amt I had. I know this is to prevent people from going south. I am just curious what the time limit is. I have been shocked a couple times sitting down with a 400+ bb stack after what I thought was a pretty long break.

I believe it is 120 minutes based on a system message that I saw once. Could be wrong.

I had a weird experience on the site, last night. I used the "sit out on next big blind at all tables" option. After I was sitting out at all but one table, I went back to the menu and used the "sit out and close tables at next big blind" option. It closed all the tables where I was already sitting out, and left the last one open.

At this point, the big blind on my final table proceeded to skip me for two (possibly three, but I am certain about two) consecutive orbits. After the first one, I thought maybe something weird had happened with someone sitting down or getting up from the table, but the table was definitely full for the entire orbit the next time it happened. Both times, the small blind fell on me, and the "sit out next big blind" option didn't trigger until the third or fourth orbit when the blind decided to not skip me.

Has anyone else seen something like this on Pokerstars?

Yes, as far as I know. I'm up to 15 now and most of them will be useless after they expire in May. I contacted support a couple days ago but their response was along the lines of "sorry, it is what it is."

I'd recommend that everyone that is in the same situation write to support to express frustration on this issue. I feel like we're missing out on a lot of value. I think in a normal Stars chest these would be tournament dollars.
