They aren't great but my gut tells me they are still +EV.

I think the trick is removing the Casino from your lobby prior to opening the chest. I got a $3 cash reward today after doing so, so not terrible.

After agreeing with everyone that the cardex prizes were also crap I got a $5 reward from it last night. It's as if they're listening...

Interesting tactic. I'll try that tomorrow.

Neat trick on the weekly $10 parlay for a $5 free bet challenge. Pick baseball games that might be voided for your parlays. You may get a risk free bet out of it.

I just tried this (removed both casino and sports tabs from the lobby), but I still got the 25% risk free bet bonus.

When you got the $3 cash, was it from the Daily Mystery chest or one of the stars chests you get through points (bronze, silver, gold, etc.)?

I received $2 cash from the Daily Mystery chest by hiding my Casino / Sports tabs. I also made sure that the chest wasn't already loaded. It auto-loads after your $1 bet. I closed the chest window that popped up, removed the Casino / Sports tabs and clicked on chest. Got $2.

Disregard. My wife just did it on her account (same as above) and got the stupid up to 50% bonus if your next bet loses.

I did it again today and got a 25% deposit bonus. The last two were Daily Mystery chests. But I don't know. I haven't payed too close attention to it.

The past two days, I've gotten something like "Deposit $50 to get a $10 risk free bet" after removing the casino from my lobby prior to opening the Daily Mystery chest.

Not me, but I'm not using WiFi nor am I close to the Canada border.

Try emailing them. I had an issue where I couldn't get located for a whole day. ended up being a "hanging login" and they had to clear my session.

I've been worried about issues staying at hotels on the border and don't get anything crazy, but do get short discos pretty frequently where the tables all just refresh.

I had an issue a couple days ago where it couldn't find me mid hand, but it worked itself out during the hand. I'm not on Wi-Fi.

I’m trying to cashout to my checking account, but it’s saying there is a $30.00 fee? I wasn’t charged a fee the first time I cashed out. I appreciate any info on this?

The first agent I talked to did not help at all, but then a couple days later someone fixed it right away so it was probably a hanging login or whatever. Some of the customer service people are terrible on Stars.

I've done two by e check and haven't got anything about a fee. It's been a few months though I've been using PP now.

I have done 2 cash outs over the past month using the bank transfer option and was not charged any fees.

So they rebranded the daily challenge to "Daily Casino Bonus." I'm not sure if that means we'll just be getting more casino bonus $ and less deposit bonuses or other oddities. I'm fine with the free bonus $. Today I played 1 hand of blackjack for $1 and got a $1 bonus. I then went on a hell of a blackjack run and cleared the $1 at $55. So far in less than 2 months of doing these bonuses I have cleared 3 of them at blackjack for approximately $40, $100, and now $55. I have no way of knowing the EV on these bets, but I can't imagine there's anyway they aren't massively +EV. $1 per hand of BJ is like what, -$0.02? The free $1, even though it has to be cleared, must be way more than that.

Of course they also gave out $5 in free bonus money today, which I immediately lost. I'm not sure from an EV standpoint it really matters what game and how you bet to clear these things. I play blackjack because I like blackjack. So far my system has been to bet about half the bonus (so a double or split doesn't dip into my acct.) until I'm at a bet per hand amount that seems to be clearing relatively quickly. On a $1 bonus that clears quicker once I got to $20 I stuck to $5/hand as it really only took 10 or so more hands to clear. However on a $5 bonus you have to play a lot more, so I would probably get up to $25/hand. I'd rather go big or go home then get bled out. Again, I'm not sure it matters too much, but maybe someone smarter than me can put some math behind it. If I'd have gone bigger on my bets today it could've been much bigger. I probably played 20 hands to clear the $1 and won 17/20, with a few blackjacks in there.

Earlier in this thread, KaiserChefs showed some math he did on how to clear the bonus in American Roulette which I found very insightful.

My current strategy is to play blackjack until it gets to like $20 and then bet it all on 1-24 in American Roulette until like $80 and then grind the rest down betting $1 on 1-24 until it's cleared.

Managed to clear like 5 or 6 bonuses that way so far.

Bet the entire bonus amount on a single number in European Roulette, then clear through slots which count at a 100% rate if by chance you hit.
